24.01.2022 Last week, Year 10 students studying Physical Activity & Sports Studies participated in an NRL coaching session run by NRL NSW. The NRL coach ran students through critical aspects surrounding the role of being a coach of which will prove very helpful for them when they create and run their own coaching session as a part of their coaching unit this term for Years 7 & 8 classes.

24.01.2022 Five of our the Year 9 Agriculture students were busy checking for the Queen in the beehive today. They managed to actually find her and mark her for future identification. The rest of the class got to enjoy a very informative demonstration of checking the brood box and observing the different types of bees with the bonus of no-one getting stung this time!

05.01.2022 Year 9 Photographic and Digital Media students are busy learning traditional photography techniques in the darkroom this term. So far we have looked at how to complete a photogram using a variety of objects placed on light sensitive paper. The students are thoroughly enjoying the experience of working in a different classroom setting.

05.01.2022 Ni hao! (Hello!) In Week 3, Year 8 and Year 9 Chinese classes had a special training lesson to become master dumpling chefs. In the lesson, students learned different ways of wrapping dumplings and created their own special ways to fold the dumplings into various shapes, such as triangles, roses, stars and rectangles. They truly mastered the skills of making awesome dumplings and are ready to become professionals! The best chefs got a chance to be hired by Ms Lis and Mr Thais Good Dumpling Restaurants.
