23.01.2022 IN SUPPORT OF Jayne and Mike Blackwell And little Joe. I am riding in a 24hour spinnathon on Friday with the Fix Physio Team at Vicious Cycle. ... The goal is to raise money for The Royal Hospital for Women (RHW), Randwick Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The event is inspired by my colleague Mike, and his wife, Jayne. Their little boy Joe, was born prematurely earlier this year. Sadly he did not survive. It has been a heartbreakingly tough year for them. They have since thrown themselves into creating ways to give back to the community. They are inspiring examples of grace and generosity in the face of the most awful challenge any parent could face. They have often melted my heart and riding with the team is a small thing I can do to contribute.
