25.01.2022 Beautiful Brookleigh Estate in the Swan Valley yesterday! Our gorgeous bride walked under the jacarandas before meeting her groom on the steps of the house. Such a perfect setting for an intimate wedding. Congratulations T&C Brookleigh Estate

24.01.2022 My new favourite wedding song! How Long Will I Love You.... The original song was by the Waterboys from 1990! It has since been used in the slightly bizarre movie About Time and then of course there is the incredibly romantic cover version by Ellie Goulding which is so perfect for wedding ceremonies. Lots of happy tears when this is played!!

23.01.2022 All signed and sealed! Beautiful photo of Darren and Kristy and their mums who where their witnesses for signing the marriage documents. It is so lovely to have parents as your witnesses, but remember it can be anyone over 18 who knows you well. So many options! Thanks to photographer Kevin McGinn for the fabulous photo! It was a warm January day earlier this year and Darlington Estate Winery provided the perfect Bush setting.

15.01.2022 Stepping in for a Celebrant colleague who is unwell is what we celebrants do to support each other as life can be unpredictable. This gorgeous couple where down from the northwest and ready to celebrate a long awaited wedding. Their son gave his Mum and Dad their wedding rings. Such a beautiful moment captured here. I also got to discover a wedding venue I hadnt been to before. Rothwood Estate is so private and filled with character with great accomodation options for the couple and their family and friends. 15.01.2022 Note my disappearing act while this beautiful couple say their vows to each other. The trick is to be close enough so the bride and groom - or any variation on this!-can hear me quietly prompting them through their vows while they are completely focused on each other. This is such an important part of the ceremony and needs to completely about the two people making sincere and heartfelt promises to each other. Couples often ask me about how they say their vows to each other. This is just one option! There are various other ones as well. Enjoy the Perth winter sunshine if you are lucky enough to live here! 14.01.2022 Thinking about a dreamy beach wedding on this cold lwinter day? Perhaps bare feet on the sand at twilight? An esky close by with cold champagne...... WA has so many perfect beach wedding options. Some special planning is needed but the end result is magical.

14.01.2022 Sometimes couples ask why we need a wedding rehearsal and after the rehearsal they say...so glad we did that! We get to run through all the logistics for the day and have a few laughs especially when the best man steps in for one of the missing bridesmaids as we practice the entrance
