22.01.2022 Strawflowers and mixed daffodils available for delivery to Castlemaine tomorrow (or contactless collection from central Castlemaine if you're out of town). Straws $16, daffs $9/12 or $16/24. Message me to arrange!

20.01.2022 Roses galore at the farm stall today. The scent is incredible! #dmflowerfarmtrail #roses #farmstand #daylesford #Castlemaine #safetosniff #beefriendly

20.01.2022 Not feeling like a pie and a stubby in front of the telly today? How about having a lovely cup of tea while you bury your face in some sweet peas or fulfil your Peter Rabbit fantasies by sitting under some giant foxgloves instead!? The farm stall is full of gorgeous things, and you can even stay dry while you shop now that it's moved inside. Open from 10am-6pm over the weekend. 370 Flemings Rd Franklinford; the farm stall is located on the bend opposite Strawhorn Rd.

16.01.2022 My flower friend Dan grows the most beautiful proteas, banksias and specialty foliage. So when he said he was headed this way I jumped at the chance to get some to add to bouquets! Available for farm pickup tomorrow afternoon, or delivery to Daylesford/Castlemaine for a small fee. Contact me to order, $35 (for this size) or $50 for gift bouquets. Season pass holders are welcome to claim one this size, just let me know. Want to get amongst the ranks of bouquet subscribers? Details on my website via the link in my bio, and more info here tomorrow!

16.01.2022 Big skies. Winter has definitely returned!

15.01.2022 A huge proportion of the flowers and foliage sold in Australia are imported from overseas, but as there is no country of origin labelling required you'd never know. Imported flowers come with a host of biosecurity and pesticide/ herbicide issues, so I've started a petition to try to change this and provide consumers with the chance to make an informed choice. I'd really appreciate if you took the time to read the petition, and (if you agree with it) sign and share it. Thank you!

15.01.2022 And in today's instalment of "flower farming is glamorous" we have glorious, bawdy, pink ranunculus - harvested in the rain before the school run, wearing pyjamas and wellies. The flowers are glam at least, I think they'd go well at that fab bar Dolly Parton has apparently just opened in Nashville! DM me if you'd like a bunch, delivering to my drop off points in central Castlemaine today and Daylesford tomorrow (or to your door for a small fee!). #pink #ranunculus #wellies #nolinendresseshere #dmflowerfarmtrail #flowers #beefriendly #springflowers #buylocal #illgetdressedbeforeideliver

13.01.2022 These bunches of fluffy marshmallows are on the stall now, along with snapdragons that smell like lollies (and poppies, stocks and mixed bouquets). It's like Halloween candy bags without the calories. Stall open 10-6 over the weekend, with an option to pay online or by cash.

12.01.2022 This crazily warm weather has brought the scented daffs out in a rush. I've got a spare dozen ($9) if any Daylesford folk would like me to drop them off this afternoon; otherwise there will be more on the stall over the weekend. #Daylesford #daffodils #earlyspring

12.01.2022 This be the face of a herb farmer who's just planted her first crop! So thrilled to have Caroline @thecottageherbalist sharing our land. We've got all sorts of great collaborative projects in mind!

11.01.2022 So it's not that I forgot what day it was or anything, but I totally forgot what day it was. Covid! School holidays! I'm all over the place. Oops. The farm stall is now stocked with gorgeous tussie mussies full of anemones, ranunculus and all sorts of herbs. Borage for courage, calendula for sunshine and warmth, cornflowers for gorgeousness.

11.01.2022 Today's homeschooling lesson - get an office job! So chilly in the patch that my far-too-large ski gear and hot chocolate was required. @ Franklinford, Victoria, Australia

10.01.2022 Poppies galore (four year old for scale). Message me if you'd like some!

09.01.2022 And just like that we're back in business! These beauties and more will be on the farm stall tomorrow morning (from around 10am). And guess what? You're actually allowed to come and buy them!! (Sorry Melbournites, I feel your pain...). Given how flower-starved everyone seems to be I highly recommend pre-ordering. Message me or give me a call to organise. Address in my bio, and also on Google maps. We take cash or you can pay via our website once you've made your selection ...from the stall. Looking forward to saying hi over the fence #springflowers #farmstall #daylesford #castlemaine #beefriendly #roadtrip

05.01.2022 Back in March (so approximately 9387 Covid-days ago) the bottom fell out of my market, as it did for so many other businesses. With weddings and events cancelled I offered flowers to my local community at discount prices and have consistently sold out since; for which I will be forever grateful. As a business I can’t afford to sell at a loss any more, but I really want to continue to make beautiful, affordable flowers available to the community who have supported me so amaz...ingly. The answer? A Community Supported Agriculture Flower Share. Like a Fruit or Vegetable CSA, our Flower CSA is a program whereby members buy a ‘share’ in the farm for the growing season, and in return receive beautiful bouquets delivered to central collection points. Buying a share upfront means members are guaranteed flowers (members come first!) and we can offer a discount on retail prices. It also means I can invest in exciting things like bulk compost to make this season’s flowers even more beautiful! We have two options this year, a month-by-month CSA with four weekly bouquets and a more flexible ‘Season Pass’. Details are available via the link in my bio. The number of shares is capped to make sure that we can provide top quality offerings to our members, so be quick. At the moment we have collection points in Daylesford, Castlemaine and Guildford, but if we have enough demand I’ll investigate other drop off points so get in touch! Really hoping that you’ll be able to join us as CSA members and looking forward to providing you with more local loveliness over the season!

03.01.2022 The strawflowers keep coming, despite the frosts. Love them. #flowerfarmer #flowerfarmtrail #winterflowers #slowflowers #strawflowers #Daylesford #Castlemaine

03.01.2022 Need some sunshine on your table to get you through the next few freezing days? Bunches of mixed fancy daffs (some scented) available for delivery to Central Castlemaine and Daylesford this afternoon. $16 for 2 dozen stems, message me ASAP to arrange! SOLD OUT! I'll have more ready early next week, message me if you'd like to preorder. #winterflowers #itscoldoutside #freshfromthefarm #daffodils #beefriendly #Daylesford #castlemaine
