23.01.2022 YEAR 12 FAREWELL ASSEMBLY Last Friday was the last day of formal lessons for our Year 12 students for 2020. Students began the day with a breakfast provided and cooked by staff at Greenrise Reserve, with formal proceedings getting under way with a whole school assembly back at school. Year 12 Year Level Organiser, Chloe Long, conducted the last roll call, with each student being presented with a certificate and card. 21.01.2022 LET'S LOOK AT...YEAR 8 STEM During a recent STEM lesson, Year 8 students were required to construct a boat using a piece of aluminium foil. Boats were then placed in water and weights were added to see how much they could hold. Students worked together in teams to come up with a design, and used problem solving skills to make improvements. Students also managed to stay dry during the process!

18.01.2022 PENOLA HIGH SCHOOL FESTIVAL Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Penola High School Representative Council Festival was unable to be held last Friday. I have already thought of meal worms, crickets and cockroaches. 08.01.2022 YEAR 10 FIRST AID As part of their Personal Learning Plan, students in Year 10 undertook First Aid Training at school today. Students learnt skills and knowledge required to perform CPR and recognise and respond to emergencies, including managing an unconscious casualty and control bleeding.
