22.01.2022 Supporting those that work hard in our community is at the heart of what we do. The Mount Gambier & District Health Advisory Council (MGDHAC) fundraise tireless...ly to support the provision of health services in the community. We were very proud to provide $8,500 for the purchase of a HoverJack for the Mount Gambier & District Health Service. The HoverJack effectively moves patients to bed height from a floor level, and is safe for both patient and staff. Theatre and nursing staff provided our branch manager Tracy and Maureen Klintberg (MGDHAC) with a HoverJack demonstration - it will be a valuable tool across the hospital wards. Well done to the MGDHAC on their ongoing work for our local community health services. This funding was made available through our community investment grants program - applications for our current round close on 1 November.
