24.01.2022 Mudgee Mixed Invitational Update We are pleased to announce that the following people have been appointed as coaches of the Mixed Opens and Mixed Legends teams for the Mudgee Mixed Invitational: Mixed Opens - Alan Lloyd... Mixed Legends - Junior Pumipi Trials will be held for both of these teams in the coming weeks, details will be provided next week. In the Mixed Senior Division our State Cup winning Mixed Seniors team coached by Jarrod Mostowick will represent Penrith.

20.01.2022 *** PENRITH OZTAG - COVID 19 UPDATE - JANUARY 2021 REMINDER *** As we return from our Summer break this week, a reminder to everyone that the COVID requirements are still in place. We would like to thank all of our players and spectators for adhering to the protocols last year and we would ask you continue to support us by adhering to them for the remainder of the competition. It is critical that we all remain vigilant in order to continue our competitions. Penrith Oztag wil...l have the following protocols in place; Spectators can attend matches though you must arrive no more than five minutes prior to the match and must leave immediately after the match. All spectators must use the QR code posted around the fields to sign in. We recommend you use the Service NSW app to do this. Spectators must head immediately to their field and players must check in prior to their game at the check in tents Spectators must observe social distancing requirements at all times and follow the directions of COVID Safety Officers. All players must arrive ready to play, no change room facilities will be available. Players should arrive 15 minutes are less before their match and leave as soon as their match is finished. All players are to wash their hands prior to attending and use hand sanitiser that is available. All players are to bring their own labelled water bottle. All players and spectators are to maintain social distancing wherever possible. No players are to shake hands with the opposition or spit on the field. Referee's will continue to sanitise players hand before and at half time of all games. All other COVID requirements as outlined in our COVID Safety Plan remain in place. Sign-ons will remain the same as they have been with players checking in at the check in tents; Any players or spectators who have flu like symptoms, are awaiting COVID-19 test results or have visited a venue/area which the NSW government have directed to self-isolate, these can be found on the following link; https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates are not to attend the competition. We will continue to monitor NSW Government requirements and continue to amend protocols as needed. See more

13.01.2022 *** REGRADING *** We have had numerous enquiries about whether we would be doing any more re-grading after our initial review following Round 3. We will conduct a final re-grading following Round 6 (next week) over the Christmas break and changes will be implemented for our return in early January. We are aware that there are some times who need to be regraded, please bear with us for one more week and then we will see what can be done.

11.01.2022 ** Uniform Design Competition ** We are after uniform designs for our 2021 National teams, anyone interested in submitting a design is asked to DM it to us here.... Winning design will receive a set of playing gear (Shorts or Tights and Playing Top). Design rules are that it must be predominantly the Tigers colours (Orange, black, white) and must not use any copyrighted content. Designs will be accepted up until Friday 19th June.

04.01.2022 *** REMINDER - SHIRTS *** All teams are reminded that ALL players must be in the correct uniform now. All players must have the same shirts on with different numbers. Players out of uniform will cost their team 1 try per person out of uniform. Committee people (not the referee) will be policing this. It is their decision on what is and is not acceptable. We understand it can be difficult at times to get 1 or 2 extra shirts. In these circumstances we will allow shirts th...at are predominately the same (it is the committee's decision on this), but will not accept totally different colours or vastly different designs. If in doubt check with us. If you have a player in your team and cannot get them the same shirt we have available Penrith Tag shirts for $15 that players will be permitted to wear in this circumstance. They can be purchased from the office. We have limited supplies. 99% of players are doing the right thing, but there are a small number of are not. Teams have already lost games due to the enforcement of this rule. Repeat offenders will be suspended.

02.01.2022 A reminder regarding player check ins All players must check in with the official at the check in tents before they play. Players have until the end of half time to check in. If you have not checked in by then you cannot play. The QR codes around the fields are for spectator's to check in re COVID requirements (they have nothing to do with player check ins for the games). All spectator's should use the Service NSW app as it makes the check in process very easy. All spectator's are asked to check in when you arrive at the fields, if you are asked and refuse to do so you will be asked to leave the grounds. Please work with us to ensure we can all keep the competition running.
