12.01.2022 Do pins and needles in your hands wake you up at night? Are your hands and fingers stiff upon waking in the morning? Do you feel pins and needles when talking on the phone or when driving? You may have Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. Arthritis, overuse injuries, pregnancy, repetitive hand movements or wrist fractures can create pressures on nerves that run through our wrist. Here are Kates top tips to help reduce Carpel tunnel injuries: 1) rest and avoid aggravating activities, mi...nimise repetitive movements 2) try to sleep with wrist in a relaxed position, avoid curling or tucking the wrist (a wrist brace may aid this) 3)control swelling by elevating the wrist or applying ice of an evening to reduce swelling See more
