Head to the Cafe on Friday evenings from 5pm until sundown for delicious tapas, local musicians and a refreshing range of beverages. The perfect way to end the week No bookings required. 13.01.2022 Don't miss this exciting tour through Redfern and Waterloo on Saturday 28 November! Join exhibiting artist from our upcoming exhibition, MAPBM: Fabrik, Vivienne Dadour, along with Paul Convy and Freda Backes from the Australian Lebanese Historical Society as they take you on a journey highlighting the social history of Syrian/Lebanese pioneer settlers and their deep connection to the neighbourhood. Beginning at the corner of Elizabeth and Redfern Streets at Redfern Park, Paul... and Freda will share stories about the early Lebanese migrants as we visit key sites exploring an often overlooked Sydney community. A chartered bus will depart the Gallery in Emu Plains at 10am, arriving at Redfern for 11am. The chartered bus will return to the Gallery at 3pm. Limited capacity! 08.01.2022 A teaser on what you can expect at our upcoming exhibition MAPBM: Fabrik. The exhibition will explore the idea of the material object, as well as the processes of making and unmaking of textiles, clothing and papers. The artists involved are Vivienne Dadour, Anne Graham, Beata Geyer, Ian Milliss and Ebony Secombe and Fiona Davies (curator).
