25.01.2022 Great night praying tonight for Breakthroughs in our city

23.01.2022 Day 4 21 Days of Breakthrough Prayer & Fasting 1 Corinthians 9:22 From the devotional today, this verse is a reminder of where our focus lies... why are we praying? Why are we fasting?... One of the reasons is to align ourselves with God's plans and purposes for us, both as individuals and for us as His Church. #Others

17.01.2022 Day 19 21 Days of Breakthrough Prayer & Fasting "BUT NOW"... After reading Ephesians 2:13, I had to let these words sink in, "BUT NOW". Right now. As I'm typing this... now. As you're reading this... now. From the moment of our first being united with Christ, it is a constant state of being united with Christ. We always are. What can separate us? As this truth gains revelation in my heart, my prayer is that I would live as this new creation He has made me to be. We are not renovated sinners who are grace-card carriers for entry into Heaven. Nope. The old is gone. Completely gone. The old was before. BUT NOW...

17.01.2022 Check out this very cute craft we will be making with our friends at Jitterbugs tomorrow. Have your photo taken and printed out when you arrive. See you then

13.01.2022 Day 18 21 Days of Breakthrough Prayer & Fasting EVERY word?... Every now and then I prefer "my word" over God's word. Sometimes we prefer to have the arguments with people in our minds rather than submitting ourselves to God's direction of forgiving and praying for those people. Sometimes we prefer to gossip with our words, rather than following God's word and keeping our mouths closed. Sometimes we prefer to criticise with our words rather than to speak God's words of encouragement over people. We certainly don't live by bread alone. But we also won't find life via our own words until we are living by God's Word. Whose words will we live by today?

13.01.2022 Day 17 21 Days of Breakthrough Prayer & Fasting Psalm 119:18, "Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions."... Even though our eyes might be open, we don't always see things correctly... or completely... Sometimes what we see is based upon what we want to see. If we want to see the worst in someone, we will. If we want to see the best in someone, we will. If we want to see God's will in the context of our own preferences, we will. But our greatest goal is to see God. To see His hand in His provision to us. To see His heart in His love for us. To see His will in His word to us. To see His glory as we worship Him. To see His greatness as we praise Him. Dear God, I know we won't see ALL of you this side of Heaven, but open our eyes to see you more than we do right now. Amen.

09.01.2022 Day 3 21 Days of Breakthrough Prayer & Fasting Matthew 5:21-22 In Matthew 5, Jesus teaches us so many things but with an underlying premise... how's your heart?... So many actions have already begun with thoughts that fill our hearts and minds. Jesus identifies murder and adultery as two outward actions that have already begun in the heart. We may not have issues like murder or adultery to deal with on a personal level, but how about hatred, or unforgiveness, or anger, or selfishness... These all begin from what is already in our heart. And so, how's our heart doing today? As we pray and fast, let's guard our hearts and replace the self-serving attentions with God-honouring affections.

04.01.2022 A word that we sensed from the Lord tonight in our Breakthrough Prayer time at Luttrel Street. What do you think?

01.01.2022 Day 5 21 Days of Breakthrough Prayer & Fasting Matthew 5:22 This verse teaches us a couple of things... Firstly, it teaches us that we don't have to make vows and promises to uphold our word... learning to just say "Yes" or "No" is enough... and then we ought to be diligent to be a person of our word.... But secondly, many people actually find it hard to say "no" and they end up so busy and distracted by the many extra commitments that they should not have committed to in the first place. As we fast and pray, let's ask God to show us how to de-clutter our lives by focussing on the things that we ought to do, and ask God for the wisdom of when to say "no", and the grace to say "no" to the things that we should not be doing.
