24.01.2022 Updated 6/10/2020 - Tuesday Morning Hockey Development has now moved to Wednesdays - times remain the same. Introducing- WEDNESDAY MORNING ICE HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT Time: 6:45am - 8:15am Price: $20.00... Penrith Ice Palace will be running a Wednesday morning hockey development starting from September 8th 2020. The ice will be split into two sections, one section for coach supervised practice and the other for self practice stick and puck. This development session is open for all ages and abilities and all participants must wear full gear (skates, stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin pads, gloves etc) - gear is not provided. Wednesday morning development will only run during the school terms. The rink will open at 6:15am for a 6:45am hop on time. Please follow our Facebook page for updates.



21.01.2022 Our timetable is here! Starting this Saturday June 13th we will be back to running sessions 7 days a week! UPDATE: We will no longer have to restrict capacity to 100 skaters so spectators in our general public sessions are allowed. Spectators will still not be permitted in our Friday Night Disco Sessions. Customers will be served on a first come first served basis. ... Please note that with all sessions, patrons will be subject to temperature checks on arrival and will be required to provide contact details in case it's needed for contact tracing.

20.01.2022 Covid 19 Update 03/01/2021 It is currently not compulsory to wear a mask while at the ice rink but we highly recommend for them to be worn by patrons while off the ice. We will keep you updated on any changes regarding this as soon as they happen.

16.01.2022 We're reopening this weekend! Saturday 13th June: 11am - 2pm Public Session Sunday 14th June: 11am - 2pm Public Session Please note that in accordance with government COVID-19 guidelines, these sessions will have a 100 person capacity limit and spectators will not be permitted. Patrons will be allowed entry on a first come first served basis and will be subject to temperature checks before allowed entry into the ice rink. ... 15.01.2022 We will be holding Flyers STICK and PUCK session this Saturday June 13th. With the rink opening this Saturday 13th June, the Flyers in conjunction with the Penrith Ice Palace, will hold two stick and puck sessions. Please note that all patrons will have to supply their own gear - pucks are provided. 1st session - 2:30pm to 3:30pm for juniors. (14yrs and under, parents/guardians can join);... 2nd session - 4pm to 5pm. (Seniors 15 years and over). NOTE: If you are exhibiting any cold or flu like symptoms you are requested to stay at home and seek medical advice. All patrons will be subject to thermal temperature checks before they can enter the ice rink. All patrons are to sign in with Name/email address/phone number and time in. Payment at the door of $20.00 per person. Contactless payment methods are preferred where possible. Please follow all social distance markings and signage on premises. 1.5-metre social distancing rules will be enforced around the rink and on the ice surface. Sharing of equipment will be prohibited in all sessions. Each session will have a 15-minute grace period where patrons can exit the building using the one-way traffic flow plan. Hand sanitiser will be provided at multiple locations throughout the rink, including the front desk, canteen, and boot room. 13.01.2022 We have great news! We have just received information from the Sport and Recreation Sector that we will not have to limit capacity to 100 people, meaning spectators in general public sessions are now allowed! (spectators are still not permitted in our Friday Night Disco sessions.) We will still have to abide by the 4 square metre distancing rules, so we ask for your cooperation in following all social distancing measures put in place at the rink. We have also developed a Covid Safety Plan to make sure we are doing all we can to keep our staff and patrons safe when we reopen, as well as a special Conditions of Entry. These will also be displayed at our front desk.

13.01.2022 ---COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT--- We are still running all sessions and following all government policies regarding 100 person limits. There will be NO SPECTATORS permitted during sessions and staff will be monitoring numbers closely and stopping entry once we reach maximum capacity. Customers will be served on a first come first served basis and we will not be taking bookings for our Party Packages, Group Bookings and Room Hire. Pass outs will also not be permitted.... 13.01.2022 To our valued customers, Amid these concerning times, Penrith Ice Palace is doing all it can to keep our patrons and skaters safe while they enjoy their time ice skating. We will be remaining open to the public and taking these necessary steps to help reduce the risk of illness: -Regular cleaning of high contact areas such as the ice rink barriers, canteen tables, benches and counters... -More frequent cleaning of bathrooms -Increased signage in bathrooms on correct hand washing procedures for patrons -Monitoring the number of people in the building at one time to keep in accordance with government guidelines -Restricting the entry of individuals who appear to have cold or flu like symptoms. If staff or patrons notice an individual who appears to have cold or flu like symptoms, the individual will be issued a refund and asked to leave the building. We apologies for the inconvenience this will cause, but please understand it is for the safety of all patrons and staff. We would also like to ask of you at this time to avoid attendance to the ice rink if you: -Have travelled overseas in the last 14 days or have come into close contact with someone who has travelled overseas -Are experiencing flu-like symptoms, have increased temperature, sore throat or runny nose or have come into close contact with someone with these symptoms -Are waiting on COVID-19 test results It is our hope that we can all work together to keep the ice rink a safe skating environment for everybody.
