21.01.2022 With the temperature for Penrith predicted to reach 42 degrees on Saturday 28/11/20, clubs, players and their families are reminded of the PJCA Extreme Heat Policy. Coaches & Managers are encouraged to take extra drinks breaks as required, ensuring all players wear sun screen, wear a hat and drink plenty of water. The Weatherzone App is the only App to be relied upon for determining the temperature. The temperature reading for all matches is for Penrith irrespective of where... a game is played. Please see below extracts from the policy: PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PLAY Should the feels like or effective temperature (taking into account wind and humidity) for Penrith from the Weatherzone App be 32 degrees Celsius or higher prior to the commencement of play then play for the day shall be abandoned. CESSATION OF PLAY Play shall cease immediately in the event that the Weatherzone feels like temperature in Penrith reaches or exceeds 40 degrees Celsius.
