25.01.2022 Congratulations to our 13s, 15s and 17s sides who participated in the NSW Invitationals hosted by ourselves (17s), Camden (15s) and Manly with Warringah (13s) Our 15s won 3 out of 5 games finishing behind the winners and Western Sydney neighbours, the Two Blues. Our 13s were the winners at Narrabeen's Academy of Sport. ... & finally, our 17s defeated Manly 1 in an intense final finishing the day undefeated It was also great to give a bunch of local girls an opportunity to play some rugby 7s via our current and ex club members as we required a 4th side to fill the draw. The girls got a tough introduction to rugby against some quality sides in Randwick Magic, Illawarra and Manly. A great celebration of our talented rugby players! It has to build a reputation for fair play, high standards and quality coaching. We aim to be a leader for the game in Western Sydney. This age group of children born in 2009 have played up, played down and ‘transferred all around’ as we have not been able to field a team in this age group since they switched to Sunday Rugby. Th...ey are the missing piece of the puzzle to the club celebrating being able to field all ages from u6 to u16s for the first time in its history! Great support from the club’s members and coaches. Fully sponsored Coach ed. delivered by NSWRU and mentoring from long serving club legends. The best available coaching resources and equipment. A number of great kids ready to play their correct age and contacts of newbies keen to try rugby! Many of the Club’s best parents who are keen to volunteer and support you on match day and training nights. Not to mention some of the best club kit going around! A keen and organised individual with sound communication skills. Available Wednesday evenings and Sundays for training and match days Not necessarily a Rugby person but possessing a knowledge of skill and player development.
