05.01.2022 2 Rescued from Nepean River: 2 ladies were paddling down the Nepean before and got swept by the strong current at Yarramundi. They became stuck in reeds in waist deep water. Rescue teams from NSW SES along with Fire and Rescue NSW Station 102 Regentville attended to the scene. Rescue crews swam to the victims in fast flowing water to establish contact and conduct what is called a live bait rescue bringing the women to shore. All were assessed for injuries before being given the all clear.
