19.01.2022 Yesterday, sixteen very nervous Year 5 nominees took to the stage to present their reasons why they should be elected to be our 2021 School Captains or Councillors. They all did an amazing job and made themselves, their families and teachers very proud. They certainly made the voting a very tough choice! We will find out who our leadership team is at our 3-6 Presentation Assemly.

09.01.2022 Penrith South Public School is excited to be introducing our students to Learner Qualities in our classes. These Learner Qualities are attitudes and actions that teachers will teach to students and use in classrooms to enhance student learning. We have already launched our first quality - Brave. we are now going to create a mascot/character to help the students understand and become more engaged in the Learner Qualities (sort of like Starry with our positive behaviour progra...m). The students are voting for which theme they would like and we are inviting parents to have a say as well. The 3 possible themes we have chosen to create our mascot/character around are: magic monster animal Please comment below with your thoughts as to which theme of character you would like to see us develop.

08.01.2022 Our final Gold Awards for 2020 were handed out this week. Congratulations to all of our recipients! Students are now busy working hard to receive one of our new GREEN Star Awards! Remember to keep them safe over the Christmas break as they can be used towards Bronze in 2021.
