25.01.2022 Pensar was engaged by Banana Shire Council to increase the Moura Raw Water Pump Stations instantaneous flow. As part of the upgrade, Pensar was required to provide a solution for retrieving the pumps from the river during a Q100 flood without having to work over water. 25.01.2022 Pensar recently completed a clarifier refurbishment at Image Flat Water Treatment Plant, improving overall water quality. The project involved a 10 week shutdown of the plant to complete design, refurbishment works and final installation and commissioning.

23.01.2022 The Molendinar Water Treatment Plant is the largest treatment plant on the Gold Coast, servicing the majority of the region. Seqwater engaged Pensar for the upgrade of the backwash and electrical systems. The project involved the design and construction of a 5ML Clear Water Storage tank and a 0.5ML Powdered Activated Carbon tank, the associated underground pipework network and SCADA process design and integration. The new infrastructure will increase the water storage capacity and improve water quality.

19.01.2022 Pensar installed a new backwash handling system at Dunwich WTP, improving the environmental performance of the plant. The new system captures all backwash water, ensuring it does not enter waterways.

12.01.2022 To mitigate concrete deterioration and extend the service life of the asset, McKinlay Shire Council have engaged Pensar for the refurbishment of the Julia Creek Water Tower. The scope involves external concrete repairs & waterproof linings, internal protective coatings, upgrades to pipework, control valves, ladders & landings and the implementation of a heights safety system. The project will improve security of water supply, ensure the tower meets current Australian Standards and reduce future repair costs.
