14.01.2022 Hi everyone. Had a phone call the other day. Customer had said their turbo diesel van had lost power, there is a loud noise now happening and lots of white oily smoke under acceleration. This is the result of today’s investigation. mmmmm. Let’s just say mmmmmmm. The price for a turbo.

14.01.2022 Hi everyone. I’m just carrying out the 40000kms service on the Pentech Automotive I-load. Now I over service this vehicle due to it being the life line of the business. This air filter has only done 10000kms and the date was the 8-6-2019 when it was replaced. So the service on this vehicle is. Every 5000kms or 3 months, the engine oil and oil filter gets replaced. ... Every 10000kms or 6 months the engine oil and engine oil filter, Air filter, fuel filter, cabin filters get replaced. Then at every 30000kms or 12 months on top of the 10000kms service, the brake fluid, engine coolant, gear box and differential oils get replaced. This service schedule is way more than Hyundai wants, but this is the standard that this type of vehicle needs. When the vehicle is constantly carrying an extra 900kgs of load every day. 12.01.2022 Hi everyone. Did something fun today. I went and test drove the latest SR5 Hilux and the Camry Ascent Sports Hybrid. I wanted to check out the latest safety systems and Hybrid technology. If you ever get a chance to try the auto braking or the lane departure systems, very cool. The Hybrid costs now are a great alternative to straight fuel. Smooth, so very quiet. The kids didn’t know the vehicle was on as I drove out of the parking space. I can highly recommend the Hybrid vehicle over a Diesel power alternative. The new RAV4, Camry or Corolla are good value alternative vehicle. Drop in to your local Toyota Dealer. I have to say special thanks to the team at Clintons Toyota Gregory Hills for putting up with me. Any questions, just give me a call.

04.01.2022 Hi everyone. With new technologies coming out. We at Pentech Automotive have now jumped onto the hybrid scene. We took delivery of our new Toyota Camry Hybrid two weeks before Christmas. An early Christmas present for Katy. With This vehicle, I’ll keep you all posted from time to time on what I really think of the Hybrid systems. So far, the vehicle has a lot of low down torque, and very fuel efficient. Oh and one other thing, it’s quite. Very quite. ... And for all you Petrol Heads out there, I still have my very thirsty VT Calais 5L Aussie V8 for when I need to burn some fuel. Have Safe New Year, remember Double Demerit Points still
