25.01.2022 Sending thoughts to Susan and her husband for "Jasper" he was a beautiful client who I learnt alot from. He loved his runs thought Springwood Golf course early hours of the morning... loved life and was only 3yrs old ( correct me if I am wrong Susan) Jasper died of Addison's disease... what a horrible disease for such a lovely Pup. Xxx

19.01.2022 Hey everyone... hope you are all well and safe...just want to give you some tips.... Please do not wash your dogs weekly, or even if you can refrain.. try keep it to 1 month to 6 weeks. Why? Because dogs in particular heavy coated dogs need to have their dead coat removed before washing. Ok so with heavy coats for example... try washing a single winter quilt by hand ... Its not going to end well. You will have alot of soap still sitting in that quilt. Also not drying the c...oat properly can lead to hot spots... this is a nasty bacterial infection caused by wet hair, the will agitate the dog causing it to bite the area. This causes a scratch or opening to the surface of the skin which can lead to a spreading problem. Then we have alot of hypoallergenic breeds like Tamaruke's, Australian Cobber dogs, Groodles, etc.. these dogs are actually getting allergies. I use Oatmeal shampoo, and also gentle eye cleaner for built up sleep gunk that needs to be removed gently. For lighter coated dogs yes also the same advice... the more you bathe.. the more you are taking the natural oils off the skin and can cause flaking of the skin and other issues. 14.01.2022 Look at this Beautiful and rare gem... his name is Ronny. He was rescued from a home raid.. he was emaciated but going well. This breed is not a "filled out" looking dog.. they need to be lean. Can you guess his breed?? I was in awe to meet him.. he is so handsome!

14.01.2022 Very sad to say..this is the last time I will be grooming Monty and Giles... they are moving away and will miss them and there owners. Known Monty for quite some time.. then along came Giles... ( Jerry Lewis) Monty has come along way.. so much anxiety to a pretty layed back Dale. Giles didnt really care a a youngster.. as long as your chatting to him and being as goofy as he is.. grooming is a breeze. To Paul and Cecilia ... happy adventures to you all... life is short.. gr...ab the bull by the horns ( sorry watching PBR finals) and steer it anyway you want. Take Care... please keep touch. 02.01.2022 Elka in for her first clip..she came to me at around 5mths for a hygene/ tidy. Therese helped me as I was so busy. She comb dried her beautifully. Therese also stepped in to help me today as my leg was not great. She has the patience as I do and makes for a great grooming apprentice... we spoke the whole time to Elka to keep her calm.. its alot to ask of an 8mth old to stay still.. Therese was a great help and know when she ends up in the grooming room with me, she will be ou...tstanding in absorbing all I show her. Therese goes out of her normal duties to help me and I really thank that she is there. Grooming is physically exhausting and upper body strenuous.. she is always helping as much as she can. I am such a lucky groomer. Apologise to clients have had had to wait till my injures were tolerable to get back into grooming again. Please remember I am the only groomer... I do get sick, bitten, muscle strains etc. I am really appreciated of clients and their patients to wait. Thankyou Your Groomer Kath. See more

01.01.2022 Frankie the Groodle in for a brush out... Therese joined in and it took us and hour and a half to finish. Therese' right arm is now slightly bigger than her left haha. Will be transforming Frankie into a Lion... watch this puppy ( yup he is not quite 2yrs old)
