Launching tonight, Gabriele and his team of dedicated chefs will be serving up a brand new pasta menu to tempt every tastebud - from squid ink tagliolini with calamari, king prawns, clams and roasted roma tomatoes, to traditional Piedmontese rabbit ravioli with butter, sage, and pecorino. ... And yes, by popular demand, chef Gabriele's tagliatelle with beef & pork ragù Romagnolo and Parmigiano Reggiano cream is back on the menu! We're thrilled as we hated having to disappoint so many of you during our sell-out weekend! ... For indoor diners, we'll be offering a choice of 2 chef's choice tasting menus, featuring the chef's rotating daily selection of fresh hand-made pasta and authentic Italian dishes:... Five tasting courses - small bite, entrée, pasta, main course & dessert $69pp Three tasting courses - 2 small bites & pasta plus your choice of entrée or dessert $49pp Dietary requirements will be accommodated with advance notice, but apart from that your menu selections will be up to the chef! 16.01.2022 At long last, today's the day we welcome you back into our pasta haven! A few things have changed since the last time we were open. There'll be fewer guests - we're limited to 10 guests indoors and 8 guests outdoors. Instead of an a la carte menu, you'll have a choice of 2 chef's choice tasting menus - 5 courses for $69pp or 3 courses for $49pp. We're kindly requesting a minimum spend of $75pp for indoor diners (inclusive of food and drinks). And of course, we'll all be we...aring masks But all the important things are the same! For example... The food is incredible! Check out our stories for examples of the dishes you might find on our chef's choice tasting menus over the next few weeks, like "spaghetti alla chitarra" - hand-made guitar spaghetti with yellow cherry tomatoes, king prawns, burrata and pistachio - or black cuttlefish arancini with fresh peas and clams mayo. The team is the same! Julia, Gabriele, Philippe, Riccardo, Gemma, Mateo and Darshan have stayed strong and committed through the lockdown, and are ready and waiting to welcome you through the doors this week. And we hope to bring back a few more familiar faces as soon as restrictions ease up a bit more And of course - the passion is the same! It hasn't been easy to keep the business alive over the past 7 months, but to every one of you who ordered takeaway or home delivery, bought a pack of Pentolina pasta in your local grocer or dined with us in June/July - we say thank you! We'll be open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday, plus Friday lunch. ... Due to COVID-19 restrictions we'll be limited to 10 guests indoors, so we'll be doing things a little differently. Instead of an a la carte menu, we'll be offering a choice of 2 chef's choice menus, featuring the chef's daily selection of fresh hand-made pasta and authentic Italian dishes. We'll also be asking for a minimum spend of $75 per person inclusive of food, drinks and take-home pasta, and your seating time will be limited to 1.5 hours. More details about the set menus will be published on our website over the coming days. We're also exploring some options for outdoor seating, and hope to have some good news to announce very soon! It's been a roller-coaster 7 months for all of us, but we're crossing all our fingers that once we re-open, we stay open. There's a lot of work involved in preparing the restaurant to re-open safely, so we're planning to stick with the opening date of 5th November even if the Government brings forward the permitted opening date for restaurants. It won't be easy for the business to survive while our indoor dining numbers are limited to 10, but it's all for the greater good and no one is happier than us to see the COVID-19 numbers going steadily down. We hope you support the changes we've made in order to keep the restaurant safe and sustainable, and we can't wait to see you all soon!

Walk-ins are welcome, but bookings are recommended - we only have 4 tables of 2, and we expect them to get snapped up pretty quickly!... As our outdoor area is uncovered and unheated, we are unfortunately at the mercy of Melbourne’s unpredictable weather. If the weather turns bad, we might need to cancel your booking at short notice.
