21.01.2022 PRISON CINEMA: Coburg's historic Pentridge Prison site has been undergoing a transformation and all will soon be revealed -- with a 15-screen cinema complex, en...tertainment and dining venues, specialty stores, and public spaces. The redeveloped prison site -- that once housed bushranger Ned Kelly -- is set to open to the public in December this year. Palace Cinemas say it will have safety procedures in place at its new 1,100 seat complex to keep moviegoers protected from COVID-19, including checkerboard seating, staggered session times, contactless payment, and hand sanitiser stations.
