24.01.2022 It's not very often that we meet clients who are not afraid to use colour. When Jess and Jared mentioned that they were thinking of doing a Mexican themed wedding I crossed my fingers and toes and prayed that I'll be the one who would make it come true for them! We don't normally do much styling that doesn't involve flowers but on this occasion, we come up with the idea of the ribbon streamers to hang across the chandelier to pack Pialligo Estate's glasshouse with colour, so ...we just did it! I am also very lucky that Jess and Jared decided to go with La ombre creations for their cake/ donut tower. As we live close by I get to show Saadia the colour of flowers and streamers I was making to tie it perfectly with the cake. Also, can we just take a moment how amazing Jess look in her flower crown and blue dress??? Huge thank you to Thorson Photography for capturing these amazing images and for sharing them with me! 24.01.2022 We have had a full day of delivering and setting up 2 weddings. It's been a very hot day for the flowers and we've been on our toes trying to keep everything sprayed and alive. First up we have Isabella's wedding bouquet to show you...!

22.01.2022 One of my favorite weddings in March just before the lockdown is Rochelle and Michael's. They were such an easy-going couple with a solid team of vendors and Hayley did such a wonderful job capturing the very essence of their day! This wedding is now featured at my websites gallery: https://www.peonynpearl.com.au/rochelle-michael... 20.01.2022 Wendy and Daniel got hitched at Pialligo Estate on a very windy day on the 2nd February 2020. I can't help but will remember this wedding as that weekend when my husband and I spray painted 150 palm leaves to achieve this strictly black and gold look. We are very proud of pulling off this one! Huge thank you to the bride for taking the time to curate these photos and sending them to me! Photography Zee & Cee Photography & Film... 19.01.2022 Hey everyone...! Thanks(or, no thanks) to Covid, a lot of bride and grooms are facing uncertainties with what's happening in the next couple of months. Should I get married this year? Should I postpone? Get married first and party later? Even though I can't predict what's happening in the future, one thing for certain is that the 2020 wedding postponements is creating a very busy 2021 for wedding vendors and availibilty is getting quite competitive (especially for hair and m...ake up I've been told). So if you, your friend, daughter, colleague, neighbour is thinking of planning a non DIY wedding in 2021- let them know that it's best to contact vendors as early as possible and fingers cross they will get an A team of vendors that will make their wedding dream come true! 18.01.2022 Another beautiful wedding photo album we have received recently is of Mai and Tom's wedding by the incredible Bel Combridge Photography . (Thank you Bel...! Your work is so phenomenal it was so hard to pick just a couple of photos for Facebook! ) Every aspect of this wedding was a joy to work on. It was a spring wedding in early October and I manage to get my hands on some extremely seasonal blooming blossoms and white lilac for Mai. I also noticed from Bel's photos the magn...ificent rhododendron blooming perfectly on the side of the Hyatt Hotel which made for some great shots. Mai and Tom are one of the sweetest couples that I've ever met and I'm so happy to see that they got the fairy tale wedding that they dreamed of. Few weeks after the wedding I ran into Mai at the handmade market and we had a catch up of the wedding which is so wonderful (I always love a post-wedding catch-up!) 18.01.2022 I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I received these drool-worthy images from the amazing Natasha Maree Photography. (Thank you so much Natasha. These are incredible...!) These are images from Chrissy and Jack's wedding photos we contributed flowers to back on 15th Nov 2019 at Mona Farm near Braidwood. There are so many areas in the venue for photos. Every time I'm there I can't help but take a few minutes for a stroll and admire the gardens. The combination of this venue and Natasha's aesthetics work so well together, I truly feel so fortunate to be involved in this wedding! <3
17.01.2022 It was 41 degrees in Canberra last Saturday and I cannot be more grateful that the wedding we had that day was inside an air conditioned little chapel inside Hotel Realm! Congratulations Courtney and Pete...!
16.01.2022 I can't believe Gavin Cato Photography can produce these beautiful images and feature them on his website 2 DAYS after Melissa and Grant's wedding day! And now all of us get to re-live this amazing day very shortly after the wedding is done. Thank you so much Gavin for your hard work! Venue: Poachers Pantry
16.01.2022 We love weddings - big and small! Here is a cute compilation of Samantha's bouquet, 2 of her bridesmaids bouquets and corsages. I can also confirm that this year's early spring native season is going very well!

13.01.2022 Introducing the arrival of our daughter: Eden Rae Melmoth...! Born on Tuesday, 12th May 2:14pm weighing 2.54kg. We're all doing well, super happy and terribly in love with our little squirt. We've been discharged from the hospital over the weekend and currently adjusting to another "new normal" at home. This photo is taken the night she arrived home. ... I see that there's a few enquiries have popped in through the email and website while we're recovering in the hospital. I'm so grateful for your support and will get back to you as soon as I can over the week! - Fionna
13.01.2022 I've been looking through professional pictures lately to update my website's gallery (a luxury that I only come across once a year) and my heart is glowing looking through these pictures. 12.01.2022 I was anticipating last week to be busy as last Saturday was the 22/02/2020 and Thursday was the 20/02/2020. In the end we manage to clump several mini weddings together to make our Sydney flower market trip worth it. The colour scheme of 4 out of 5 of the weddings we did were white so it felt very commercial but it was a good opportunity to show how versatile we can be with just 1 colour scheme. I am also extremely proud of my team this week for pulling off so much work ef...feciently...! Congratulations to all the couple's who got married last week and I hope your day was everything you wished for! - Fionna

11.01.2022 Another cracker collection of images by one of my all time faves Corinna & Dylan Photography of Aden and Tom a week before the lockdown. Aden's favourite flowers are the cymbidium orchids and tulips. When dealing with mother nature, it's never a good idea to promise anything specific. But let it be known to all that this time, for whatever reason cymbids and tulips are available in MARCH (?!). Aden also asks for pomanders for her bridesmaids flowers instead of bouquets as a ...point of difference. 08.01.2022 It's been a surreal couple of weeks with the virus wiping every wedding / large gathering across the country almost overnight! It has been 3 weeks since we worked on our last wedding. And thanks to your support, we were still busy a few weeks after that to catch up on admin and enquiries. Now that all the work has almost completely died down, it's time to let you know that Mr. Greg and I are expecting our first bub in a few weeks. We are very happy and excited to start the n...ext chapter of our lives. I was planning to keep the news as I didn't want any of my clients to worry, but given the situation, I guess none of that matters anymore. Huge thank you to Hayley from HPW photography for dropping by last week to capture these photos. Hayley is now also offering gorgeous mini front yard photo sesh - check it out! Ps: Enquiries for late 2020/2021 is still open. Thank you again, everyone, for your support. - Fionna

04.01.2022 Hello 2020...! Here we go again... It's been a terrifying Christmas/New Year here in Australia. Normally at this time of year I draw my focus on looking back through the past year to formulate resolutions, improvements, and the usual pep talk. This time I find it difficult to think of anything else outside of what's being fed from the media about the drought, fires, complicated politics and losses people have suffered. (Seriously, I need to stop scrolling!) Today is my firs...t day back in the office with my first weddings of the year this weekend. I'm grateful for being back in it all so that I can pretend to live normally and focus on flowers. Although I must admit it is weird to be planning weddings while also preparing to leave Canberra if the flames gets to it. The fire threat from the weekend have died down, but we have a long summer ahead and the forrest fuel is still there, it is far from over. For now I'll just keep praying for mercy, peace, rain and relief.
04.01.2022 We had a very special "Peony N Pearl" 2019 Christmas party at Beanland St on the 18th where creatives can be creative and do what we love most! The room was visually stimulating on every corner, the food was delicious and the company is amazing. Huge thank you to these vendors who have helped me pull this night together Styling: Sweet Little Sunday Gingerbread House cake: Cuppalini Cakes Pavlova, cake pops, personalized biscuits: La ombre creations ... And I am still overwhelmed by these beautiful photos taken by the amazing Miss Gen Photography . This talented lady only visits Australia once a year from London and I still couldn't believe that she was able to attend and take photos of the event. Thank you so much Gen! <3 Ps: The spruce greenery installation and the Christmas tree are fresh and real =)

03.01.2022 We had a big day on Sunday servicing Wendy and Daniel's wedding at Pialligo Estate glasshouse. The weather made it challenging at times, but we love the consistent final result of black, gold and blush colour effect we had throughout the venue. We also moved the mesh wall from the ceremony to reception as the dessert table backdrop with the neon sign attached to be enjoyed throughout reception. 02.01.2022 I have just received a collection of photographs by the incredible Kelly Tunney Photographer of Hayley and Jeremy's wedding from September last year...!!! <3 <3 <3 This wedding was definitely one of the highlights of 2019 for us. Hayley is an amazing wedding photographer herself (check out HPW photography) and we got to know each other when we worked with a mutual client and we got along right away! It was such a joy working at her wedding as she is very excited about everyt...hing and she gives me the creative freedom to do what I think she thinks is cool. Hayley chose an autumn vibe color palette but the wedding actually takes place in spring so I could take advantage of branches of blossoms for the arbor and I love that we get to use fruits for the table centerpieces.
