23.01.2022 Banks will deem these a liability and they will attach an expense on these facilities at 3.8% of the credit limit. For instance $1,500 limit will mean a monthly expense in your home loan application as $1,500 x 3.8% = $57 per month, if you have multiple accounts like this it’s easy to see how expenses can accumulate in your home loan application.

08.01.2022 Most people do not know how credit cards are assessed during the home loan application, they have nothing to do with what’s remaining, it's your limit. Banks assess your monthly expense as 3.8% of the credit limit. Simple math example $10,000 credit limit x 3.8% = $380 per month expense. Sometimes lowering the limit will assist the application.
