25.01.2022 Good news. Our website is back up and running. We are taking bookings for all events including the monthly tour and taste lunches (next one on November 15), cooking school (November 22) and workshops (November 28 & 29). www.peppermintridgefarm.com.au

23.01.2022 Mountain Peppers (Tasmannia lanceolata) are flowering now at Peppermint Ridge Farm. The male flowers have the stamens in the middle with yellow pollen, the females have a creamy stigma in the centre that accepts the pollen and forms the pepper berry. Looks like a good crop of pepper berries this year. Looking forward to hopefully showing our guests at the planned October 18 Tour and Taste event. #eatdrinkcardinia #eatdrinkgippsland #eatlocal #nativefoods #nativespices #gippslandpantry #gippslandtouristguide #gippslandtouring #melbournefarmersmarkets #melbournefoodie #cardiniafoodmovement #cardiniafoodnetwork #cardiniafarmandfood @ Peppermint Ridge Farm

20.01.2022 In the midst of the cold snap and difficult times for so many here in Victoria, it is really uplifting to see the first signs of spring in our native food gardens. Bud burst has begun for the native oregano (Prostanthera rotundifolia) and the mountain peppers are loving the cold. To top it all off, the wattles are starting to bloom. Our program of events will re commence in October. Thanks to our loyal customers, our tour and taste events from October are nearly fully booked. #bushfoodsensations #destinationgippsland #gippslandfood #anfab #australianbushfood

20.01.2022 Excited to see our article on bush foods for backyard gardens (Home Grown Flavours)in the latest Sanctuary magazine Issue 53 for the Renew Organisation. It was great to work with Anna Cumming on this. 20.01.2022 Harvesting Vanilla Lily. These are the tubers from one plant. Slice for use in stir fry and salad. Grows easily from seed and an attractive addition to your garde. We grow all of our native foods organically and produce our spices and teas sold in our online store. We add our dried finger lime, lemon myrtle, mountain pepper and native celery seed to a traditional dukkah recipe. #eatdrinkcardinia #eatdrinkgippsland #cardiniafoodmovement #cardiniafoodnetwork #cardiniafarmandfood #dukkah #destinationgippsland #bushfoodspices

15.01.2022 These amazing fungi appeared on our back lawn a week ago, just as the new lockdown was announced. Nature brings a lot of joy. We, like many other businesses, have had to shut up shop again. Thanks to all those who have re booked for events later in the year to replace those we had to cancel for the next six weeks. Your support is much appreciated. Our online shop is still open :) #destinationgippsland #cardiniafoodmovement #cardiniafoodnetwork #cardiniafarmandfood #bushfoodsensations # @ Peppermint Ridge Farm

10.01.2022 Beautiful spring growth on our Strawberry Gum, maybe that is why I think it tastes like the colour pink. We are excited that our new stock of the trees grown from our seed is almost ready for sale. Contact us via our website to put in your order and we can post them to you if you can't visit the farm. #strawberrygum #bushfoods #nativefoods #cardiniafoodmovement #cardiniafoodnetwork #cardiniafarmandfood

09.01.2022 Native Thyme (Prostanthera incisa) in full bloom. We have grown it as a beautiful edging to our native food forest. It has grown to more than a metre in 18 months. The leaves have a delightful minty/thyme flavour and the flowers are edible too. Plants are available from our nursery. Call to arrange pick up. #eatdrinkcardinia #eatdrinkgippsland #eatlocal #cardiniafoodmovement #cardiniafoodnetwork #cardiniafarmandfood #tuerongfarm #tilsonhillvineyard #nativefoods #bushfoods #bushfood #etchsparkling
