16.01.2022 "Nature, like man, sometimes weeps from gladness." ~ Benjamin Disraeli We will all have tears of joy once we can again explore the wild lands of Tasmania and ...come face to face with our gorgeous wildlife. This is what we all have to look forward to: Mother Nature decides to not let us leave empty handed and gifts us an amazing cloud bow just below the Tarn Shelf at Mt Field, wondering at an extremely rare native Australian deciduous bush at Crater Lake that has existed in Australia since the times of Gondwana, that one special 'Wombat Moment' at Cradle Mountain when little bub is running to try and catch up to mum, feeling like you just want to put your arms around this beautiful albino wallaby on Bruny Island and capturing 'cuteness overload' with 'Cinnamon' the wombat on her morning walk along the beach around Darlington on Maria Island. The spectacular views of some of the tallest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere on Bruny Island, the look on a gorgeous little joey who seems mighty pleased at being able to soak up that sun and clean fresh air on Bruny Island, a pretty fur seal striking a pose just off the coast of Bruny Island saying 'this is my best side', the magnificent view across the glacially formed landscape from the summit of Moraine A in the Western Arthurs and taking a moment to contemplate the amazing amount of snow above the Tarn Shelf at Mt Field. Oh and did we mention we pause for a breathtaking view over Shipstern Bluff, one of the most famous big wave surfing locations in the world, on the Tasman Peninsula and there is just something about the cliffs on the track up Bishop and Clark on Maria Island that give a true sense of the sheer grandeur of the vista.
