16.01.2022 Finding better ways is an ongoing journey & we all have to start somewhere! From day dot I was adamant that Perch & Pantry was all about an inclusive community...not an exclusive tribe. The daily bombardment of everyone seemingly mastering it all can put an unhealthy pressure on us to reach for a perfectly (unrealistic) #ethical, #sustainable, #organic, #eco, #fairtrade, #healthy....da da dah....etc etc lifestyle for ourselves & our families.... Whilst I’m an advocate for all of these things, i’m also on my own journey with the restraints of my day to day life often dictating how much i can achieve. My general mantra when I’m not investing in the ‘best’ option is to ask myself whether the alternative option is even necessary or can be avoided all together...it’s actually quite liberating to walk away with nothing but a clean conscience All I’m really saying is that you’ll never be judged in here for not ticking all of the boxes all of the time. This is a space to not only share conscious brands & products but to share our journeys & empower each other’s growth. After all, it’s the many small actions that create BIG change

06.01.2022 MASSIVELY excited about the festive season @perchandpantry Planning & curating the years Christmas collection actually starts around March! Regardless of this years challenges I decided very early on to jump feet first into planning our best Christmas yet...and now it’s nearly here ... Not gonna lie, doing retail alone is pretty mammoth at times. There’s no-where to hide, no tag team when you need to escape and no motivational kick up the arse when you need to hit those deadlines. All the ‘behind the scenes’ stuff is very much on public display, it’s risky, it’s erratic, its a roller coaster...but thanks to you lot, it’s also bloody awesome! Anyway, before it all kicks off I’m taking my annual dose of Berocca in the form of a little Country retreat in pretty #boonah and will be closed NEXT Tuesday 29th Sep. If you need a gift I’m in-store as usual tomorrow thurs/fri 9-5pm & sat 9-2 xx
