18.01.2022 On this day last year, a dangerous fire at Peregian Springs was bearing down on the community. Strong wind gusts propelled the fire and forced residents to evac...uate. More than 130 firefighting appliances (including FRS and RFS), 8 aircraft and 300 staff and volunteers were deployed. Unfortunately, one home was lost and one damaged, however it is a testament to our crews that there was no loss of life. Peregian Springs Sept. 2019
