25.01.2022 We had our first Open House event at Aveo Peregian Springs Country Club this week with a great morning tea prepared by our community chef as well as a tour of our new villas. 22.01.2022 It was a very special afternoon of music for both the residents of Aveo and our students who had the opportunity to practice their Eisteddfod music items in fro...nt of a live audience. For some students, this was their first time performing outside their classrooms. The Aveo residents were an exceptionally receptive and appreciative audience, smiling, clapping and congratulating our young performers afterward. The audience enjoyed Primary Duets, Trios and Quartets, and a couple of numbers by the Primary Girls Choir led by our Director of Music (Co-curricular), Mrs Sue Patterson. See more

21.01.2022 AFL grand final day at Peregian Springs, weeven had the wave going thanks to the social committee for organizing it was a great afternoon enjoyed by everyone in attendance.

21.01.2022 End of month BBQ and Country and Western night, some braved the weather, but those who attended had a great night.

19.01.2022 What a treat having the local Prep students from Peregian Springs State School perform Carols for the residents at Aveo Peregian Springs Country Club. On Wednesday, 12th December local Prep students from Peregian Springs State School joined us at Aveo Peregian Springs Country Club to perform their annual Christmas Carols concerts. Nearly 150 Prep students from 6 x Prep classrooms attended after taking the 10 min walk from school to the village. After a quick fruit break the c...oncert began and was enjoyed by the 40+ residents that attended. The usual Christmas carols were performed, but also spiced up by a few classes performing Santa Claus Rock and It’s an Aussie Christmas the event was covered by local media and was shown on the channel 7 local Sunshine Coast news. This is 4th annual visit for the preppies to the village and will return next year bigger and better.

17.01.2022 Our lovely elves have been busy at Aveo Peregian Springs Country Club this year with our wonderful Chef Ann putting some of our Serviced Apartment residents to work making Christmas Wreaths to decorate the dining room out of Pom Poms. A great way to involve everyone in the Christmas spirit. This is the end result, of course we have a naughty elf in the dining room running a muck with the residents tables, much to our amusement! Very proud of everyone’s efforts.

17.01.2022 Everyone wants to continue living independently in their own home for as long as possible. But, sometimes we need a little extra support. When Betty needed to ...spend time in hospital, she knew her husband Vic would need extra care and support but didn't want him to have to leave their home. That's when they looked to Aveo Care at Home. "The Aveo Care at Home girls are just magic. While I was in hospital they would come down every morning, give him his breakfast, showered, get him dressed... He was so happy how it worked out, it worked out so well for us." A group of residents spent their weekend decorating the community cen...tre with a beautiful Christmas tree for all to enjoy. The lawn bowls group of over 50 residents also celebrated their end of year Christmas party with a delicious lunch put on by Community Chef, Ann. 07.01.2022 Aveo Rocks has kicked off with a bang at Aveo Peregian Springs Country Club!

06.01.2022 What a great outing the group had at Broughaha Brewery Maleny today, good food and liquid amber and plenty of laughter.

06.01.2022 The resident fundraiser was a success for "Wheelchairs for Kids" On Sunday, 9 December, Mary White, a resident from Aveo Peregian Springs Country Club, held a fundraiser for ‘Wheelchairs for Kids.’ Mary, along with her daughter and husband, have been raising funding for this organisation since it was commenced by the Rotary Club of Scarborough, WA in 1998.... Over the years, 43,000 wheelchairs have been sent to children in 79 countries and Mary and her family have contributed over 500. This year Mary made a myriad of home-made Christmas food gifts, plus handmade Christmas cards and there was an 8 prize Raffle from 22 sponsors, including Aveo Sales, worth well over $1000. A total of $2,704 was raised which will provide 13 needy children with a wheelchair.....a really wonderful Christmas gift.

05.01.2022 #WhatsonWednesday More than 45 residents at Aveo Peregian Springs Country Club dressed in their best yesterday for the race that stops the nation, the Melbourne... Cup. Community Chef, Ann, put on an impressive buffet of cold meats, tasty vegetables and fresh salads, followed by dessert. Fashions on the field prizes were awarded to Merv and Jenny for best dressed couple, Vera for best dressed lady and to Rene for best hat. Everyone had a great day and looked fantastic! 05.01.2022 What a wonderful afternoon our residents and guests enjoyed here yesterday! Mingle and Jingle 2019 was a great success. We enjoyed outstanding entertainment from the talented Tim McCallum and ate and drank delicious food and wine. The festive season is certainly upon us!
