04.01.2022 2019 Federal Budget Summary In 2018/19 - Low and middle income earners will benefit from tax savings as a result of an increase in the low and middle income tax offset.... - The instant asset write-off threshold will increase from $20,000 to $30,000 for small and medium sized businesses with aggregated turnover of less than $50 million. - A one-off payment will assist eligible social security and DVA recipients with the cost of energy bills. Aged Care funding will increase. From 1 July 2019 - The Partner Service Pension will be available to former spouses of veterans. From 1 July 2020 - People aged 65 and 66 will be able to make voluntary super contributions without having to meet the work test. - The age limit for spouse contributions will increase to 74. - More flexibility will be provided when calculating exempt current pension income.

Not only will there be the excitement of the two teams battling for the cup on the field, but there will great entertainment planned for you, so friends, family, partners, pets, etc, are very welcome! This year the charity organisation we will be supporting is Ladder. Ladder is an independent non-profi...t organisation which was established in 2007 by AFL players who wanted to do more about the issue of youth homelessness in Australia. They work with young people who are at risk of or have experienced homelessness. Ladder helps young people in Australia aged 16 -25 to break the cycle of homelessness and achieve their potential. All proceeds raised from the day will be donated to Ladder. The funds that will be raised, will be donated towards Ladder’s Health and Wellbeing Program that aims to help young people: - understand the concept of wellbeing; - develop their fitness and wellbeing; - develop strategies to maintain a healthy lifestyle; and - recognise the relationship between physical and psychological health.
