25.01.2022 Wow great results for a few lads from the Desert we got 6th overall at SA titles out of 25 teams.

20.01.2022 Donforget we have our kids classes running tomorrow as part of the normal Xmas timetable. 4:30pm and 5:30pm. And as an added bonus next week!!! Due to covid ruining peoples holiday plans we now have coaches available to teach next week so we will remain open.... We will run the following classes. 17.01.2022 The time has come to hang up the Gi for the kids classes. Until the heat dies down we won't be wearing the Gi top but I do ask that the kids still wear the Gi pants and a T shirt for class. I will be coming out with a Xmas/Summer holiday timetable soon which may include pushing the kids classes back a little as it's very hot still at 4pm stay tuned.

14.01.2022 Just had a great visit up at the @darwin_jiujitsu_academy I received my Black Belt certificate from second degree Professor Dave Nicholl, learnt some new escapes from north south and got a few retired Alice boys back on the mat.

12.01.2022 It was good to be back in the Gi's tonight after taking a break over the heat of Dec/Jan for adults class. Just a reminder Monday 6:30pm for all levels Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm for advanced we all need our Gi's as of today :)

09.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS !!!!!! Starting Monday 14th September As you know I recently decided to focus solely on the gym and not work a side job. Since that day the gym has grown at an unbelievable rate and some of the kids classes are now full.... This is a great problem to have, apart from the fact that we ran out of room and don't have enough helpers each class to allow enough 1 on 1 time with the students. To fix this problem I am splitting the Monday and Wednesday 5:30 pm kids class into 2 classes and changing the Wednesday class to Thursday. Kids 9-11 yrs will now be training at 4:40 pm - 5:30 pm Monday and Thursday. 12+/Teens will remain at 5:30 pm - 6:20 pm Monday and Thursday. I will also have some of the more advanced 10+ kids in this class. I will advise any of the kids currently under 12 who need to move up. OUR NEXT PROBLEM! We have to move our Kickfit classes! Many of you have other sports on Saturday mornings so I have decided to trial Friday afternoons for these 2 classes. Our adults have also seen an influx of new students, so we have decided to add in 2 basics classes per week which will allow for new people to get on the mat and learn in a more comfortably paced environment. Sorry for the disruptions to your schedules!! But to maintain the high standards we are known for I believe this is the best move for the club moving forward. 09.01.2022 Hello Parents, I am really under the weather today so I have arranged some new coaches for today. Unfortunately Kiara is unavailable Tuesdays so Anthony and Josh will be taking class. They are first time coaches so help out if you can as the little ones are quiet a handful some days :) Kickfit today will be a BJJ Open mat so they will be rolling/wrestling each other instead of punching bags.... Sorry for the inconvenience but it should be a fun day for all :)

09.01.2022 Guys bad news i have to quarantine from today for 2 weeks.........

07.01.2022 Quick update for everyone. We got flown to Darwin then bussed to the Howard Springs Facility for the rest of our quarantine. So far the staff have been great, the rooms aren't bad at all the wifi is faster than Alice so I think we will be ok. Ohh and we can walk around the facility freely as long as we have our mask on so that's a huge plus.

01.01.2022 Xmas time table STARTS NEXT WEEK MONDAY 14th December. We have pushed all the kids class onto the same day due to limited help over this period. I have also extended class times to allow for a mix of BJJ and Kickfit during these classes. This should make things fun and interesting over the holidays for the kids.
