22.01.2022 What is preventing or stopping you from doing something you want to do?? A thought I thought to myself the other day what right do I have to be learning camel to wheel & backward walk outs at my age??? Someone even sent me DM (direct message) saying they couldnt believe I was so mobile at my age!!! (Manifested that ) What right do you have to NOT explore these possibilities??? ... The question should be what programming is preventing you from exploring these possibilities??? Do you ever question where your thoughts originated? Why do you have the thoughts you have?? Unless you are sitting in meditation daily & connecting to your creative genius frequently your thoughts may not be your own... this is programming Is this something you have ever pondered?? xxkit

20.01.2022 Learning a new instrument is a challenge!!! This is the Harmonium fascinatingly the harmonium has its origins in the period of British rule in India, a modified version of the reed organ, with keys like the piano with bellows to pump air into the instrument it is used a lot in Mantra & Kirtan & Bhakti practices I got curious, I had forgotten how much I loved singing because I thought i wasnt good enough, but here with the connection to the vibration of the sounds in harmon...y with this instrument I am rediscovering a part of me that I held so special but got so completely separated from. My beautiful high school friend & voice coach @jenniferwhitecoaching says your voice is your audible signature something so deeply connected to who you are & how you interact in this world. Finding connection to your voice & your vibration brings you closer to a place of self acceptance & self love its whats rightfully yours!!! That is a life of joy & happiness. Your life by design

16.01.2022 I am gonna give you a list of some practice/ life altering in class cues gifted to me when I was truly present in that moment. press your feet into the floor (bridge pose) every detail counts... almost like you want to wedge the heels in the sacrum (vajrasana) only recruit the muscles you need (whaaat??!!!) breathe in the pose I know these sound simple & maybe we hear them every class but sometimes its literally years into your practice before a cue makes sense to your physical body I would love to hear what cues have changed something in your practice Let me know below!! xxxkit

15.01.2022 Soucha is the first of our Niyamas in the Eight Limbs of Yoga it literally means purity, but its translation is cleanliness & clearness of your mind, speech, body, the food you eat, your yoga mat, house well there is no end you can apply soucha to every aspect of your life! Our environment often reflects our state of mind its the same when we come to our practice are we coming with a clean clear beginner mind? We can continue this theme to the food we eat do we know its... origins? is it clean and free of chemicals & pesticides is it fuel for our fabulousness? Soucha for our brilliantly busy brains is a little more challenging where attention goes, energy flows... so where are focused on the breath & on your body or a your busy being in the room? 14.01.2022 Stop saying judgement like its a bad thing & serving it up with a slice of side eye You are judging judgement! We have to make judgement calls on the regular.... its about being decisive & getting shit done... The problem is when we pre judge that is when we operate from pre conceptions, programming or preconceived notions which is quite literally pre-judice You have to build an awareness of your patterns habits & response mechanisms so that you become aware of when you are being prejudice. xxxkit

Fast forward many years & you cant scroll past self help or miss the spirituality section in the book shop Everyone has inner work to do, the inner changes the outer & when you feel the change you get hungry to learn more & share your experiences What work are you doing for your betterment at the moment? 10.01.2022 If 2020 was a food what would it be??? I immediately went to my worst nightmare food combo a banana & coriander milkshake seriously ..... I immensely dislike all of those things bananas make me vomit But what about the sweet things?? Honestly I have had a lot of positive stuff happen too! Its about mindset Appreciation for the little books and crannies of joy, your coffee your comfy bed, my clients, my family my daughter my friends my dog, great food, sunshine, a f...ridge with cold coconut water. 10.01.2022 Arrival. We arrive on our mats for practice but do we we arrive ever fully into a shape??? Our work in a life in yoga & in our asana is never done ... 08.01.2022 This T.shirt has become a fav. I bought it in a supermarket here in Bali for like $4.50, I wear it a lot. It makes me reflect on things that bring me happiness!!! because it says Happiness!! 2020 dumped a heap of poo on us, never has a year been more worthy of having its end celebrated... Yet celebrate we did not.... no late night random NYE hook ups for me especially when there is a curfew in of 11pm in Bali lol ... any who I digress..... The reason for this post is that in spite of 2020 needing to end for us to take a long deep breath into the 2021 freshness 2020 did deliver a few really cool things... 1) I made some awesome new friends. Whether we were neighbours, in yoga trainings, caught in the rain, hunting dragons, chanting mantra, learning harmonium or ecstatic dancing. I made lots of truly beautiful new friendships for which I am extreme grateful. 2) Charlie Bali my fur baby. you have seen her you know how much I love her. I didn't even want a dog, but she was like nope I am sleeping on your bed lol. 3) I really learned to slow down, so slow I may even have been going backwards There were other things too, beautiful clients and being able to witness their transformations, finding my comfortable seat in meditation and being able to stay in it! Seeing Komodo Dragon!! Happiness is reflecting on the good stuff, remembering all the things that we have to be grateful for even when there is an apparent shit storm swirling around us threatening our sanity. 08.01.2022 I am not perfect I am rewriting my story What starts out in your imagination, can become reality if you want it to.... The best way to achieve an outcome is with a mentor or coach to help guide you and keep you accountable. I have had coaches all through my life for different things netball singing piano (that didn’t go so well lol) ice skating ballet personal training cooking putting my daughter to sleep when she was a baby yoga business marketing more yoga meditation harmonium aerobics competition The list probably goes on So ok I am not new to coaching!!! The thing is...once I got a coach for what ever it was I wanted to improve, I improved much faster, they helped me cut through the crap & help me accountable & using their experiences they gave me pro tips that helped expedite my journey. So if you have never had a coach before, this is why you get one, for any aspect of your life y desire to improve!! 05.01.2022 To listen is to give attention to sound or action. Hearing, or auditory perception, is the ability to perceive sounds by detecting vibrations Arent we amazing!!!!! ... How often do you remember your mum or teacher saying are you listening to me? Or did you hear what I said? Lol maybe that was just me!!! Listening & hearing are about being present We will often be aware of the sounds around us but how often are we truly present & able to connect with the assembly of words that are gifted to us from another human? Even when we process the meaning of this collection of words they will be absorbed & processed differently by different folks! Some really beautiful interactions & interesting discussions have come about after practice from talking about cues given in class! I love these chats its so fascinating to hear how each person translates them!!! When we are ready we will hear the message!! xxxkit

01.01.2022 Listening & Hearing As demonstrated by Charlie in this video Charlie is definitely listening to me but she is most certainly not hearing me!!! ... We may listen to our teachers as we move through our practice.... but how often do we actually hear what they say! I have had light bulb moments when I hear a cue (which lord knows that poor teacher has said at least 5000 time in this incarnation ) when I actually hear the cue the words sink in & my mind is blown & the posture or shape is changed from that moment forward!!
