24.01.2022 Ran the first film through my old girl in over a year today, hand cranked with just water but everything is looking up Millhouse!. Got a sparky coming tomorrow to rig up the juice. If anyone wants to test and shoot (pref 120) C41 film then message me! #V30SM

23.01.2022 We’ve been at it a while but are now proud to publicly announce that we’re fully set up to with two scanners, and a very healthy C41 machine! We develop and scan in-house both colour, and black and white 35mm and 120 at $20 per roll including high quality scans. So bring in your films!

21.01.2022 Fresh Kodak Stock! TMAX and TRI-X for all you B/W heads, and some Portra 800 for your low light colour needs. High res dev and scan available, $20 per roll for colour, and $30 for E6 & B/W.

13.01.2022 Handed over keys today, no more shop! Have found a home for the film machine just waiting for a decent batch to run through to cover the chems. Any Targa people I haven't got back to feel free to hassle me about it and I'll get it sorted in the next couple of days have been flat chat but set up a home office and will get stuck into anything outstanding. Thanks to everyone for your support over the years, it's a shame to see it to go but excited to see what comes next.... Cheers, Rob

09.01.2022 Walch Optics is moving! In April Walch Optics will be moving to 197 Harrington Street, opposite St Mary’s (cnr Harrington & Patrick St.) Our repair workshop wil...l have more space and we will have a showroom for products we sell. We will no longer keep display stock for new cameras and accessories, but can order anything you need. As for second hand cameras and lenses we will continue to buy and sell them, all with warranty. We will also now be developing and scanning film, at good quality and price!

01.01.2022 3 Days Left! Stock starting to run very thin now, but it does all need to go so come in and grab a few things, the more the better! I can sort out a very good price. Also have a counter, some display units, a bar fridge, and a 7 month old well looked after EOS 1300D single lens kit w/ box etc up for grabs.... Last day for printing will be tomorrow as we'll be dismantling the machine for shipping Thursday night. Cheers, Rob
