Inspired by his love of Indy Roadsters, this is a supercharged grey motor, tilted at 40 degrees to keep a low profile. Clocked at Mallala doing 150 mph (241kph) in the early 1960s. The sad reality is, there is no more local industry to protect. The LCT is now redundant. ... Performance Ignition Services & Scorcher Ignition has traded in the historic, vintage, hot rod, muscle car and race scene for almost 60 years and we see the LCT act as a disincentive for enthusiasts, racers and collectors alike. The purchase and import of historic vehicles into this country is rendered infeasible for a lot people because of this tax. Its time for it to be scrapped.
