24.01.2022 It’s a Blouch Turbo kinda FRIDAY! Just some blouch turbos ready to go on some clients cars!, I would definitely have to say BPT is one of the best stock frame turbochargers for subarus in my own experience. - Build quality and fitment is second to none... we have never have to force anything on it just bolts up.... - All the XTR series use a ball bearing style cartridge, no old school bearings are used.... trust me it makes a difference, the less resistance the better. - Wheel #AERODYNAMICS is key to making solid power and a strong power band. BPT have got that on point. 21.01.2022 #THEDEB finally had its first race outing at Roll Racing Sydney . We have been waiting for the drags to open and it's just taking forever . It wasn't too eve...ntful, first run the map sensor hose came off, this seems to be tradition with THEDEB_Rx7 . Every one of his builds has to have a map sensor hose come off at some stage . Otherwise in all honesty the car just did what it needed to. Chris had to drain 100-200ml of E85 out of his Redbull catch can (yes he upgraded from mount Franklin) and that's about it. Even with sitting in the pits for ages, the w2a setup was able to shake off the heat fairly quickly and get the job done. As you will see the car spun really hard in first gear and some of second, I think we will need to work on some power management on the Adaptronic M6000 to get the car to leave better. I think once that sorted we might have enough grunt to go deep into eliminations. 20.01.2022 Mouads liberty on the dyno! The last time we seen this car was with the previous owner, after replacing the stock Top Mount intercooler with a Process West intercooler mouad it was time to re tune this beast. During the dyno session we found a misfire under load this was due to very old and worn spark plugs ... Replaces the spark plugs an calibrated it to 200kw atw. Same power as las time however we added abit more midrange grunt. #pnbracing

20.01.2022 #LOLEVO getting his new Link ECU! Getting ready to install a whole new engine management system, on this set up we are including the following sensors: Intake air temp Wideband 02 sensor for closed loop and open loop.... Fuel pressure and temperature Flex sensor on board boost control And more! These extra sensors help us collect more data and get a better understanding of how the car is behaving, this means we can sit and really fine tune a car. 18.01.2022 Some late night #DYNO Sessions! Last night we had the chance to final tune Dukis S14, now running the PTE journal bearing 6266, on his built engine. By the end of the night we made a aggressive 350Kw at the wheels at 29psi.... Battling wheel spin on the chassis dyno. Screaming to 8000rpm with no power dropping off! Just how we like it #pnbracing

17.01.2022 A Subaru technicians worst #NIGHTMARE ! Unfortunately the timing belt gear bolts are very easily rounded, this is due to many heat cycles and soft metal. Sometimes we win and we can crack all 4 without rounding them. And in a perfect world is how it should be every time. Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world and this time around we have lost the battle on jerics wrx. (Funny enough every bolt we seem to touch on this car is double the torque specifications) (Yes we ...have tried all different types of methods and various tools) what makes it worse is the material on the cam gear is also brittle (no avcs cam gear) and also is easily damaged when trying to remove the bolt. It’s time to get the drill out and go for gold! #pnbracing

17.01.2022 Jackson’s heads are machined and assembled all together just the way we like it. Did you know Subaru heads actually flow really well ? Even with factory parts? Every engine build that comes out of our workshop have heads that have been fully rebuilt.. not just a quick surface grind and on its way it goes It’s all done properly here !... We make sure all valves are cut and checked/replaced to our spec and hold a vaccum and seal... remember compression is key A lot of time is spent on the heads especially when we have aftermarket parts in them. That leads me to the next step we will do our final measure on the piston to valve clearance and final assembly. Even though we know this combo works, every engine that gets assembled with aftermarket parts every clearance should be triple checked as there is so many other variables that can slightly change. 13.01.2022 Chasing a OIl control valve Fault on this wrx.... Think we found it Using the proper diagnostic equipment we were able to look at feedback to the Ecu in Milliamps.... Looking at the signal it was all over the place, we bench tested the oil control valve solenoid and it was working like it should next step was wiring.. and well after abit of time chasing we found this.. 12.01.2022 The engine is out on Jerics WRX! It’s always a good feeling progressing through the major steps in a build, regardless of the amount of times we have done it. Time to strip this engine and see what went wrong, ... Once the heads a prepped to our specifications we will assemble the #PB25 Long engine! #pnbracing

11.01.2022 Our new Injector flow test bench is set up and almost ready to go! It needs some tidying up but it’s working! We are Doing some testing and it’s looking really good, it currently has some SUBARU Dark blue injectors getting measured aswell as checking for leaks and spray pattern. We decided to venture into our own custom flow bench as we would like to test large injectors at long periods of time, being paired with a Link ECU we can simulate road/race conditions. (Real world sc...enarios) There is so many questions you should be asking yourself when getting injectors checked.. - Is the fluid/injector at a temperature the injector actually operates at? - is the injector dynamically flow matched? - was the injector tested for a long duration? (Short test sometimes aren’t simply good enough) An injector is probably the most crucial part to a build and is often overlooked. We are serious about our work and we do our best to make sure our customers get a reliable outcome. We will continue to invest our R&D so you guys and girls can enjoy it with a peace of mind! 10.01.2022 NEW P&B PRODUCT LAUNCH!! The new GD and GC8 Fuel pump hangers are here! (99-07 WRX/STI) These hangers are designed to suit the Walbro line of fuel pumps: Walbro 460 ... Walbro 525 Walbro 540 One of the biggest problems using the larger fuel pumps in a factory hanger is that the connector doesn’t allow the amount of current draw the fuel pump needs, therefore running into voltage drop issues, overheating wiring as well as burning the factory connector. We have included a bulkhead on our hanger that can do up to 40 amps per pin! Not to mention all of the internal wiring is all up to walbro specifications. We offer our hardwired circuit as the OEM circuit is not upto the task. We offer the option of a pigtail connector for you to wire it up yourself or we can leave pins for you to crimp them ! 09.01.2022 #RESULTS are in! 245 KW atw is the final power output of andres Wrx! You can see the power curve is rock solid, it stands up hard and and has no power drop off. Spinning it all the way to 6900rpm with stock heads . Who said EJs can’t rev and make power ? Just do it right Remember this is on pump 98 at 19 psi. The key to having a fast Subaru is having no restrictions for your power target and a solid #TUNE.... Putting 24 psi through a tiny VF turbo to power a 2.5L after 6000rpm isn’t going to happen. Matching the turbo to the engine is super important. We have done all the R&D to confirm this. We have even done several Subaru engines with no intercooler piping connected to see where the engines VE points are. This helps us to find restrictions or if the engine it self is a limitation. 08.01.2022 Michaels beautiful STI dropped off and ready for some real power! We will be putting in a fresh fuel system with some Injector Dynamics injectors, Blouch Turbo dom 1.5 XTR 8cm . A new exedy clutch kit to suit and some maintenance items repaired followed by a custom tune... we are yet to see if it will be some extra engine management goodies with flex.. ... I actually found this photo ...taken by Yeet. really inspiring, as soon as I saw it, just put a big smile on face. Yes we take the piss out of each other a lot, I felt like this photo captured that perfectly . You can see THEDEB_Rx7 trying to look like his pushing his car, you can also see Gem from Performance And Beyond Racing leaning on the car instead of pushing it, I am up the front trying to figure out why this thing has suddenly become so heavy , Fayez was doing the live stream for FD 1320 , we even have had @esh13b there that night racing his #FD #RX7. When we have gone out racing, it's always been a good night out with friends, having a laugh, taking it easy, working hard at times and sharing each other's company. 04.01.2022 Ifrazs Wrx getting its clutch swap! Remember to always check your clutch fork during a clutch change as it can have a massive impact on wear. As you can see here the new fork vs the original! This wear can cause clutch shudder and other abnormalities!... #pnbracing

04.01.2022 Some serious #GAINS on this MY15 STI This gorgeous black STI came in all stock to us. We carried some simple mods such as invidia Q300 turbo back exhaust system, Cobb intake system and Ofcourse a Process West top mount intercooler! ... A stock VA STI punches out 140-145kwatw on the Dyno Dynamics dyno and today we finished up with a consistent 192kw atw at just over 15 psi of boost. Sure we could have made the 200kw mark. But sometimes it’s better to just stop where the car is comfortable. You can tell that by the curve! We have gained a lot more bottom end and top end! As you can see. The #iCEBAG on the intercooler is simply there to help the Tmic cool down beetween full power pulls, while we also let everything else to cool down. don’t worry guys we aren’t using it as a power adder promise! It’s just temperature control! #pnbracing

03.01.2022 Some more late night tuning on Joseph’s S15 Running a Aeroflow Performance 5855 turbocharger making a solid and agressive 320Kw at the wheels. Unfortunately we ran into some boost creep issues as the engine and turbo combo flowing so well it requires a larger gate so we decided to stop making power their! you can also see the intercooler pipe blowing off on the 320kw run! Revving hard to 8000rpm... Listen to it scream! #pnbracing

02.01.2022 Kayahans beast back in for more work! Since last time we seen kayahans gc8 it’s done some extensive track work! His ready for some more upgrades and TLC, to help improve his vehicle. It’s getting one of our Link ECU packages aswell!... One of the main issues kayahan has been having is vibration in the driveline under certain conditions , now we know he has a STI 5 speed gearbox that is a 4:44 final drive, however his rear diff looked like it had never been changed (stock Gc8 being 3.54FD) We decided to remove the rear diff and cover to confirm our allegations and sure enough we were correct! A mismatched rear diff. This will cause all sort of drivetrain issues! And may harm components such as the Centre diff in the gearbox. We will be replacing it with the CORRECT 4:44 Diff and carry out our checks on other effected components! Stay tuned for more #pnbracing

02.01.2022 First tune of 2021 done and dusted ! One of our clients engine combos featuring a freshend up bottom end with headstuds! Bolted to a old school TS06SL2 20G turbo Making impressive power @ just under 300kwatw! With 27psi of boost... At this stage the turbo is completely out of puff the comp wheel is working hard! The last time we done a similar combo was Joel’s #STOCKBLOCK sr20 and his beast makes 317kw at just 25 psi of boost. Goes to show we have come a long way with turbo technology as his car uses a smaller 2867 GEN 2 garret turbo (of course there is plenty of other variables but it definitely is some sort of benchmark) We will show graphs soon stay tuned... #pnbracing
