25.01.2022 THURSDAY AND FRIDAY RECAP. Coona Eventing clinic with Sharmayne Spencer. 6hrs in the saddle yesterday with showjumping lessons, Oakey taking a while to settle being fresh and excited but all boys went well, focusing on keeping soft and calm around the course. Followed by another 6hrs today out on cross country. First time out on course in about 9 months for Suds and Zeek and Oaks first time ever training xc! All boys went super, heres a few snippets of some of the fun thanks to Warrumbungle Eventing Club Inc and Sharmayne for a great couple of days.

23.01.2022 AGISTMENT AVAILABLE After saying a sad goodbye to some of our long term residents this year we currently have some vacant agistment spots available. Our facilities provide private or shared paddock options, with yards, buckets, wash bays, riding space, cross country fences and private sheds all available on site. Agistment is available for long term, short term, or overnight stays if passing through. With part or full care options also available. Our paddocks are well maintained with fully electrified fences, capped star pickets, private access and under 24/7 security surveillance. And after some much needed rain they are looking great with green feed everywhere! Contact us today for more info.

21.01.2022 After a busy weekend away i didnt get a chance to wish my favourite boys Happy Birthday on Saturday! So happy belated birthday boys! Proud mum (most of the time) to a 7, 13 and 2 x 14yos

20.01.2022 And the last of our showjumping poles done and dusted! Still all the gridwork poles to go though The majority of the jumps also have matching fill to go with them also.

18.01.2022 The PPE team travelled to Forbes on the weekend for a great 2 days of showjumping. 2nd comp of the year and 1st post Covid event! Im super happy with how all boys went and we pulled off some great rounds in very large classes. Suds jumped some lovely rounds in the 110cm and 120cm classes. Oakey competed in the 80cm and 90cm rounds and managed to snag a 4th and 6th place and Zeeky went around the 100cm and 110cm classes, stealing a 2nd place in the largest class of the weekend! Long time PPE student Zac also had a great weeknd placing in top 3 in all for classes on Gypsy. We both then had a bit of fun in the Team comp thanks to DESA, with Eschol Equestrian rider Hannah as our 3rd team mate. Zac and I showing everyone how its done with the 2 best rounds of the class and our team placing 5th overall.

18.01.2022 We had a quick trip away to Dubbo with PPE student Zac this weekend for a bit of fun day competing at DESA on Sunday. We took 1 horse across each, Zac rode his gelding Case well across in 3 rounds for 3 x top 4 places and i rode Suds across 3 x rounds for 3 x top 3 places. Rounds were held as a top score/accumulater course for some fun - the Aim? - Jump as many jumps as you can within the time frame, the higher number = higher jump = higher points. Most points wins! Here is Suds scooting around his 2nd course in style, fences ranging from 100cm to 115cm.

15.01.2022 Half way through our week away! The PPE team are out and about for a week of clinics. It all started Sunday when off to Dubbo we went then on Monday we had 3 x Dressage Lessons with Carlene Barton. Suds had a great lesson with both Zeek and Oakey working super at the end of theirs after being a bit on the cranky side for the first half! Lots to work on with some great tips and advise received. Tuesday was day off riding but busy shopping, then Wednesday was off to Coona to get ready for a 2 day eventing clinic with Sharmayne Spencer. Lots more riding to come before heading home so watch this space!

15.01.2022 Day 1 working bee done and dusted for me and Zac on our on new Showjumping course! MANY working bees to go but the result will be a full showjumping course and separate grid work course.

10.01.2022 Something a bit different for the PPE team today when they came and tried their hand at gardening

10.01.2022 What a good weekend the PPE team had at the Macquarie Jumping Festival on the weekend, with lots of entries across the classes! Oakey was the star this weekend, he competed in the 80cm and 90cm TB classes on Saturday for a 2nd and 4th and the open 80cm class on Sunday for another 4th. Zeek also had a good weekend with little prep over the last few weeks, getting a 5th and 3th in his Saturday 100-104cm and 105-110cm TB classes and also jumping a nice 105-110cm class on Sunday. Suds jumped some great 105-110cm rounds both days missing out on the placings and also crusied around the 115-120cm classes both days. Heres some great shots of all the boys over the weekend thanks to Chris Miller photography!

09.01.2022 Another weekend away at Forbes showjumping last weekend. Zeek was a bit sore so had the weekend off and sadly Oakey wasnt at his best so it was up to Suds to hold the forte in the 110cm and 120cm classes. Heres some great pictures of him from his rounds.

06.01.2022 Another quick couple of hrs of painting this arvo for our new course, some easy 1 colour poles done and dusted!

04.01.2022 Heres Oakey going around his 90cm Thoroughbred class at Macquarie Jumping Festival a couple of weeks ago, this round earned him a 4th place, even after tripping over the first jump the boys have had a couple of weeks off and are now back into it for the last few comps of the year coming up!

03.01.2022 SATURDAY AND SUNDAY RECAP 2 day Showjumping clinic with Jen Wood thanks to Dubbo Eventing & Showjumping Association. All boys jumped super both days, Oakey being an absolute pro both days showing us why hes still around! Zeek and Suds also casually cruising around their lessons. Sunday morning I strained a muscle in my first lesson on Suds so a threw Hannah from Eschol Equestrian into the deep end with 5 minutes notice to ride Oakey and Zeek for me in their lesson, which she did with ease and done a super job! Heres the boys during their Saturday lessons. Week over and we are now back home!

02.01.2022 After a couple of months off Oakey went for his first ride back this morning! Not that you would know, always so chilled under saddle this boy.
