25.01.2022 So many people ask what is involved in a Performance Saddlefits assessment, particularly when we advise that you should allow up to 2 hours for your appointment. We leave no stone unturned in our assessment process. There are so many things to consider to get a correctly fitting saddle and so we build the pieces of the puzzle to ensure we get it right for both the horse and the rider. We have put together this video to explain a little more about what to expect when you book a fitting with one of our 11 saddlefitters around Australia.

Check your saddle every 6 months or if you notice a difference in the way your horse is going, sometimes all it takes is a small adjustment to make a world of difference for the horse and the rider!

21.01.2022 Today I lost my best friend, my soulmate, my unicorn, the horse of a lifetime. There are no words to express the void you are leaving behind you, but you deserv...e a tribute. I met you on May 1st, 2015, and it was love at first sight. Forget about trialing other horses, I knew straight away you were the one. I chose you, but I believe you chose me too. You were not perfect, but you were perfect for me. I spent the last 5 and a half years doing everything I could to make you happy. You flew across the world for me, I changed careers and moved houses to be able to have more time with you. I can't believe you're gone, that I will never hear your welcome neigh again, cover you with kisses even when you'd had enough, share scratches with you, never see your sweet sweet eyes again. They say eyes are the window to the soul, that was definitely true with you. You were the sweetest, most gentle, most beautiful boy I have ever met. I feel so blessed and grateful to have shared so much with you, my anchor, my port in a storm. You kept me grounded. I wasn't ready for you to go, a month short of your 18th birthday, I thought we still had years ahead of us. I don't think you were ready to go either, but life is a bitch. The way you went is what above all else breaks my heart. You didn't deserve this, and if I could, I would choose anything but this for you. You are now resting with our Aussie family Mick and Michelle Maree, in this beautiful spot of the world where we have been so happy for the last few years. You were the sunshine of my life, and I miss you already so so much. Rest in peace my love, my sweet boy. 03.01.2022 Great article on how high low hoof in front impacts the whole skeleton of the horse and therefore impacts saddlefit. This is why when we do our saddlefit assessment, we first look at the horse's conformation to identify asymmetry before we even start looking at the saddle.
