25.01.2022 I completed my Bachelor of Education two years ago and since then, have also spent my time teaching English in classrooms. I purposefully design our speech and drama lessons so that students are reading, making meaning and connections from what they read and communicating what they have read effectively. And we have FUN while we are doing it! We honestly have seen SIGNIFICANT improvement in student learning (at school) and parents have attributed this to our speech and drama program. There are so many benefits to doing this class!

14.01.2022 EISTEDDFOD 2021! I’m incredibly proud of all students who got up on that stage! More importantly, I’m incredibly proud of how they conducted themselves. So supportive and encouraging. To my senior students - you guys are such a special group. Such amazing role models. I’m proud of our teachers Miss Gabby and Miss Olivia, for ensuring our students go onto stage confidently and prepared! The quality of the performances was so impressive. ... Thank you to our parents who always say yes! You’ve taken off work to watch, you’ve come to extra lessons and you’ve always been so supportive to all competitors. 13.01.2022 Tonight was the premiere of the hit musical ‘Hamilton’. This musical is a CULTURAL PHENOMENON, the ‘Les Miserable’ or the ‘Phantom of the Opera’ of our generation. I’m so glad that we could share this experience together as a group.

07.01.2022 Recently we uploaded a video of our Seniors doing a two-part version of Sign of the Times by Harry Styles. In fact, we are always uploading videos of seniors doing amazing harmonies! I thought it was time to shine the spotlight on our juniors. This term in our musical theatre classes, we are focusing on improving our aural skills and introducing our younger students to part singing - so that one day, they can do amazing harmonies like our seniors! Check out Mini MT doing a mashup of Michael Finnegan and This Old Man - they learnt this in under 5 minutes!!
