24.01.2022 Dropped this newly painted set off to its new owner today. Painted to match the TV unit, and coffee tables, in a previous post. The lady who bought these was very keen to have a dining set to match. The table and 4 chairs were hand painted in Arcadian white chalk paint by Canterbury Blue. It is slightly distressed, to allow timber and some of the fresh white underneath to show through in places. The top is lightly white washed and all is sealed with several coats of a se...migloss sealer. I reupholstered the chairs in a grey French style fabric. 21.01.2022 So at a loss for what to do the other day, I started a couple of small painting projects. One was this Ikea bedside table. It’s not completely timber. It’s a combination of timber and particle board, but I decided it still deserved another chance at life. I painted it dark grey Francisco, by Canterbury blue. The top is sanded back, stained and sealed. Deciding I didn’t like the insides of the draws, I decoupaged them with some masculine, nautical themed paper. 13.01.2022 Rustic Industrial Buffet/ Sideboard Cabinet. $295. (Sold) So I just finished this Beauty. Painted in Zambucca Black, from the Canterbury Blue range of Chalk paint, and finished with their liquid satin gloss sealer. It is a little rough and distressed to give it a Rustic Industrial feel. 06.01.2022 Coastal Inspired TV Unit, Coffee table and Side table. Painted these pieces, using Arcadian White from Canterbury Blue, and sealed them with their semi gloss, liquid sealer. I slightly distressed it and allowed some of the fresh white colour, underneath, to come through in areas. I used a whitewash effect on the tops. 06.01.2022 I recently completed these 2 stunning besides for a friend / colleague. This was my first commission work. They are painted in a dark grey, Francisco grey, by Canterbury Blue. I sanded and stained the tops to give them an aged look with a more grey tone to tie in nicely with the new paint. They were then sealed with several coats of semi gloss sealer.
