25.01.2022 Not getting enough protein in your diet? Well, why not start growing it your own backyard? Bulk up with Jerry's tips on how to grow, harvest and enjoy a variety of delicious and lesser-known plant proteins!

21.01.2022 Watch this wonderful idea from Morag Gamble and share with your friends. These tiny bag gardens can be grown anywhere using anything you can find. I'm using old 1kg coffee bags - they last for ages and you can find them everywhere. Just ask any cafe. Trim and roll the top.... Put some holes in the bottom. Fill with compost or good potting mix. Plant a herb cutting or a salad green. Put on a tray to collect drips. Place close to your kitchen for easy harvest. See more

10.01.2022 My hobby in promoting holistic health...enjoy! Organic, chemical free, heirloom, community grown seeds. Sourced from my own collection or harvested from various... community gardens over the years. My own seed collection has been built up over the years, through collecting and swapping seeds from other community gardeners and members of gardening clubs here on the Gold Coast and in the Logan area. Most of the time having a couple of packets of seeds in my pocket or hand bag ready to swap or share. The small envelopes are designed and made by me, so that the seeds are easily shared and gifted to others. So that there are no left over seeds going stale in some dark drawer in the garden shed or treasured box. Those left over seeds that never seem to be planted, are shared, sold and passed on not forgotton. Yeah! $3 a packet or 4 packets for $10 Swapping of seeds encouraged! Ps. If you find yourself with extra seedlings, bring them along to @Peachey Community Garden for planting in exchange for fresh produce either Friday mornings after 9am or Sunday after 3pm. Or come visit me at the Ormeau’s Farmers markets every 2nd Sunday of the month from 7am to 1pm along side the Shearer’s Arms Tavern under the Stepping Stones to Self Mastery marquee. Seeds Used by Dave from Green Finger Qld for edible garden installs. The healthiest food eaten is what you grow in your own back yard. Anne-Maree Andrew. Please share and help create a healthy community!
