23.01.2022 The rain came on early, so the plants are yet go in, but what a difference!! Reclaimed about 10+ square metres of space from overgrown lantanas, weeds and grass.

18.01.2022 When there's no easy access to the backyard you just have to find a way. Otherwise, how do you get this brilliant lawn through?

18.01.2022 Had a 'ball' doing this the other day :)

18.01.2022 Hi all. Please note that we will be closing for Christmas and New Year, with the last business day being 20th December. We will be back on January 10th. If you need any work done before 20th December please get in touch soon to ensure your booking can be completed. Thanks :)

17.01.2022 I knew there was a pathway under there....

17.01.2022 First job of the day done. My own lawn!! Long overdue, it's been that busy! Some soil wetter, fertiliser and out for the day :) Have a great weekend everyone!

17.01.2022 Hi all, I don't usually do this but I believe in the cause below. Many of us have lost friends and family to cancer, myself included. If you're so inclined to donate towards cancer research via the Cancer Council and support two guys doing an amazing thing to support cancer research, check out the link below. https://donate18.shitboxrally.com.au/jungle-patrol/

15.01.2022 Looking at landscaping this month? Were giving away a 5% discount on all new landscape jobs over $3000 signed up this March and finished before the end of financial year! See website for details.... www.permagreen.com.au/promotions

15.01.2022 A bit of wonky paving and a clandestine garden bed swapped out for new paving and a raised garden bed.

14.01.2022 All finished with the paving in. Great looking granite pavers, laid by Andrew Warne.

14.01.2022 The path down the side here was a little overgrown, so it was cleared, some new border plantings done and a fresh layer of pinebark mulch applied.

13.01.2022 When retic components (check valve and master solenoid) get old and need replacing there's always a big hole involved!

12.01.2022 It's not all fun and games. Demolishing a pond and pump set up. The smell is... well, not great.

11.01.2022 Great result, with fantastic contrasting tones. Very happy with the end result, as was the client :)

11.01.2022 Wishing all our customers a very Merry Christmas!!Wishing all our customers a very Merry Christmas!!

10.01.2022 If you're anything like us then Easter will be very different this year. While we can't all do the usual stuff, whether that's camping down south or heading out for a meal or a few drinks with friends and family, it doesn't have to mean a boring long weekend. Why not find a space in the back yard to set up a veggie garden? Kids love it, and its a great way to spend some quality time together, plus you'll get some quality home grown veggies out of the equation. ... My two top tips are to pick a good location with plenty of sun, and prepare the soil well with composted natural fertilisers like cow or sheep manure and mushroom compost. Now is the season to plant the following: - Kale, - Peas and snow peas - Spinach and silverbeet - Strawberries - Garlic and onion (though these take a while to mature) - Broccoli and cauliflower Go on, get out into the fresh air and find your own fun this Easter break. Wishing you all a safe and relaxing time over the Easter break!

09.01.2022 Make the most of this rain, and get some soil wetter and fertiliser down. As always, read the instructions on the fertiliser, as many are not safe to use on wet grass, or without immediate watering in.

09.01.2022 Perfect day for a retic installation! Have a great weekend everyone.

08.01.2022 Turning two rubble filled sandpits into a garden.

07.01.2022 Hi all, with the weekend upon us I thought I'd share a little information for the home gardener about the difference between Seasol and fertiliser. Enjoy :) https://www.permagreen.com.au//13/Wait-Its-Not-a-Fertiliser

07.01.2022 Feel free to share this with family and friends. For those of you with gear drive or MP Rotator sprinklers please understand that these need to run for longer than standard popup sprays. When a pop up spray runs the water falls on the whole area within the range of the sprinkler for the full run time. That's why they can run for ten minutes and deliver sufficient water. Gear drives and MP Rotators rotate, so they're only watering a thin strip at a time as they rotate, so they have to run four or so times as long as a popup spray. The main reason a lot of people use them is they cover large areas with fewer sprinklers, so the initial outlay is lower. It's gotten hot quickly, so make sure you adjust your watering times, and make sure everything is working, or you'll end up with a crispy, spiky lawn! Cheers, and happy Friday.

06.01.2022 Just a reminder to check your retic is working correctly before the heat sets in. There are a lot of brown lawns out there, including some very new lawns in new estates. Almost all retic controllers have a test function, whereby you can run each station for a minute or two, and make sure everything is working. You'd be amazed how many homes we see with a broken sprinkler spraying a fountain of water onto the road, all while the owner is fast asleep in the early morning.

06.01.2022 As the weather starts to cool down why not do some work on your home veggie patch, or build one this weekend? For a guide on what to grow right check out our blog post here: https://www.permagreen.com.au///Time-to-Plant-Some-Veggies

06.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2018. Stay safe and have a great holiday everyone :)

05.01.2022 Couldn't resist - for a few days at least you can have a Mario Kart style navigation with Google Maps. This took me to three quotes this morning. Give it a try! https://www.techly.com.au//google-maps-hidden-mario-kart-/

05.01.2022 If you're looking at a new retic system take a look at the MP Rotator nozzles. As well as being incredibly water efficient and operating very well in new housing estates with lower water pressure they minimise loss of water from wind, and can save a lot of money on your water bill.

05.01.2022 Spring has well and truly sprung for the year. Lush green grass, colourful garden beds and warmth in the air. What a fantastic day!

03.01.2022 Now is a great time to get some good organic fertilisers down (chook poo/Dynamic Lifter etc.). Check your shed rather than go out, and combine with a good granulated fertiliser like Scott's Lawn Builder. As always follow application instructions :)

03.01.2022 Removing paving and artificial turf, building limestone garden beds and returning to soft leaf buffalo. Beautiful :)

03.01.2022 Now that it's getting pretty warm and dry make sure you remember to check your sprinklers are all working, get a good quality soil wetter down and feed your plants and lawns with some decent fertiliser. Tick these boxes and you'll save water and keep your garden healthy through the hotter months :)

03.01.2022 It's that time of year - the winter grass season! To find out more about this cold season weed that infests our lawns check out the blog post: https://www.permagreen.com.au///07/The-Winter-Grass-Cometh

02.01.2022 All done, retic on and plants settling in to their new home.

01.01.2022 Stay tuned for details of an exciting special deal, coming soon in March 2018!
