07.01.2022 Your help needed - Massive Tree Branch Crashes down at Permapatch At about 2.00am on Thursday morning at the height of the wind storm a huge bough from the Gum Tree nearest to the Wooden shed above the walkway came crashing down. Amazingly enough there was very little damage to any infrastructure. See the attached photos. The situation now is the limbs which were precariously hanging have been brought to ground safely and that we need to remove the debris. This is a general c...all to help clear the area and make it safe again. Until we can do this there is no access from the shed area to the lower garden. The watering system has been turned off until later to make it easy to access the lower garden from the side gate and upper garden What we now need is people to help cut up the debris, keep the good logs for the Pizza Oven and remove the remainder. David G will be in the Garden on Saturday Morning with a couple of saws and to start the process. There is a chance that a friend of Shane will join him with a Chain Saw to assist. Gary will be in the Garden Sunday Morning with a Chain Saw if necessary (should one not be available tomorrow) Dave and Gary will appreciate any assistance they can get, shifting small branches, cutting logs etc

01.01.2022 Don't forget to come along to the PermaPatch AGM this Sunday and have a say in the future of the garden.
