25.01.2022 With the recent announcement from the Australian Government, first home buyers will be exempt from paying stamp duty for new homes up to $800,000 with a concession up to $1mil. The threshold for stamp duty exemption on vacant land will increase from $350,000 to $400,0000 with a concession up to $500,000 This will apply for contracts that are exchanged from 1 August 2020.... 25.01.2022 The NSW LPI (previously the Lands Titles Office) has recently announced changes to the Conveyancing Rules including Verification of Identity requirements. The new Verification of Identity Rules take effect on 1 May 2016 with full compliance required from 1 August 2016. 25.01.2022 Vendor agents to disclose all inspection reports taken out by a vendor or potential buyer A quick heads up that in a step to reduce the cost of a property purchase Minister Victor Dominello, has announced the proposed amendments to the PSBA Regulations so that by July real estate agents will be required to disclose all the inspection reports already taken out on a property they are marketing and provide buyers with the name of those companies which have peer-to-peer sharing discounts for reports.

Our services are fixed price inclusive of GST and nothing to pay upfront! 2. Are there any additional costs involved with purchase? Additional cost's not included in our fees are Pest and Building Inspections and if you are buying a strata or community title property a Strata Records inspection. These reports are not required by Law but are highly recommended. 3. What costs will I have to pay if the purchase falls through? None! we do not charge to review contracts and negotiate terms. If your purchase falls through there is no charge to our office. 4. What government fees and charges will I need to pay? You are liable to pay Stamp Duty. This is calculated depending on the value of the property. However if you are a first home buyer you are exempt from paying Stamp Duty on properties up to $650,000. 5. How long will settlement take?
