23.01.2022 We are going online 2.0 So awesome to see the enthusiasm for online classes! We are having quite a few technical difficulties with Facebook groups and live fee...ding so are deciding to go to a different platform which everyone should be able to download and set up very easily. Same as before all you need is a laptop/tablet or phone and a zoom account and you will be able to enjoy all of our online content live with us. We will be sending out another email in the next couple hours with invites to your specific class. (Sorry for the SPAM, we are learning on the job). 21.01.2022 2020 ADS Revolution Dance Festival Update: Hi Everyone, hope you are all staying well and back in your studios training hard! A little further information regar...ding the event. The day will be run in 3 sessions. This is necessary to facilitate the operating rhythm to comply with the COVID plan. Session 1: Masters - All (Rec, Amateur,ProAm,Teacher Student/ProStudent) Session 2: Under 16 - All (this includes ProAm, Teacher Student/Pro Student) Session 3: Youth/Adult - All (this includes ProAm, Teacher Student/Pro Student) We are running this to ensure that our higher risk group are run first off in the day. We hope that you understand that this is going to be a differently run day, and this new format is to support our dancers, volunteers and officials and compliance with the required plan. Between each session the ballroom and the Change room/marshalling area will be required to be cleared to be cleaned. Spectator tickets will be be available PER SESSION. This will make sure that we are able to give as many people as possible a chance to be in the Ballroom. A link will be up later today to purchase tickets. Finally, start and finish times will be released once we have all entries in. Please remember that unless the entries are paid for, the entry is invalid. Entries close on the 23rd October, and no late entries and payments can be accepted after this date. More details to follow!!

21.01.2022 Hey Everyone, Attention: As many of you already know the Corna Virus/COVID-19 is of great concern to us all, including the Team here at Learn 2 Dance. ... We want to make sure that all our students teachers and visitors are all staying safe, healthy and hygienic and are able to enjoy their time at Learn 2 Dance during this time. This means for us all that although enjoying our dancing and time at the studio is of utmost importance we must ensure the safety of everyone who comes in the door. In order to slow the spread of the disease we would like to let you know we have increased our cleaning of frequently touched surfaces and all staff will be cleaning and sanitising their hands after every lesson. We ask that all students please do the same, wash your hands before and after all lessons with soap and water for the allocated 20 second time. Avoid touching your face with your hands during lessons. If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting flu like symptoms DO NOT attend the studio. Please seek medical assistance from your doctor. If you have come into contact with anyone or have been to any of the highly affected countries we again ask that you DO NOT attend the studio for the allocated 14 day quarantine time. Please be assured that all entry fees and ticket purchases will be refunded in full. Returning the money will be a fairly large task and as you would appreciate cannot be done overnight but it will be done as a matter of urgency. We ask for the patience of everyone at this time. 14.01.2022 Tomorrow is competition day!!! We can’t wait to see you all at Morayfield Sports and Events Centre Doors will be opening at 830am so we can start the comp...etition at 9.30am. Spectator door entry tickets will still be available on the day. We can accept cash or card. Competitors, you do not need to buy a door entry as this has been covered in your entry fees. $20 per session per Adult $35 all day per Adul $5 per child ADS Members FREE There will also be a $5 deposit for competitors to pick up their number. The $5 will be returned when you bring back your number when you have finished competing. This is a brand new venue and we must protect the floor so heel protectors have to be worn. There will be a cafe at the venue with a variety of snacks, meal options, hot and cold drinks. 12.01.2022 Hi Everyone, After the latest updates and Government restrictions, it is with a heavy heart that after 10 years trading as Perrys Dance Academy and now Learn 2 ...Dance that we have made the decision to temporarily suspend (hopefully only for a short time only) all of our group and private dance classes/lessons, until we have further instructions from the government that we can safely restart. Please be assured that we will extend all class expiry dates and currently pre-paid classes. Any classes still unused will be rescheduled for a later date to be advised. In the meantime, we as a team are in the process of organising some fun interactive online classes that you will be able to do from your home your backyard or your driveway. These will be up and running as soon as possible. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more information on these exciting new initiatives. The safety and wellbeing of our students, your families and our own families is why we have to take these measures to stop the spread. Ballroom and Latin dancing is a close contact sport. Its a scary and unpredictable time for everyone so please stay safe, keep your distance and enjoy some time with your families. If you have paid your cla...ss fees for the next two weeks we want you still dancing check our timetable above for your new class times. We will have more information in the next few days about continued online classes after this course ends. All you need is a tablet, computer/laptop or phone and a Facebook account.
