24.01.2022 What a peaceful night just a little crowded and dark. Morning cuppa with the birds Currawong, Magpie, scrub turkey, crow to name a few.

23.01.2022 The hard work put in a few months ago is starting to bring rewards, helped along by 52mm today.

23.01.2022 What an amazing day saw this koala on our way to Munna Creek Hall for MRCCC AGM where Craig and myself have been made Delegates for Waterwatch. A great role in National Water week. We travelled through part of our region we haven't seen. We followed the meeting to a visit to a property at Netherby where we got to see the Mary River at a different location to hear that Dec 19 and Jan 20 NO flow - we were not surprised but the owner also has a photo of the property 100 years ago in the same state. We learnt lots about the Mary River Turtle. On the way home we also saw that same Koala. Water Watch could not be completed as No flow to check but again in National Water Week we have had the pit pat of rain drops on the tin roof. What an outstanding day. Just love the extremes of where we live keeps you on your toes hour by hour.

23.01.2022 Last night we made camp at Fisherman Camp at Surat. We got the best room in the house. Crate suite with stretchers swags and -5 sleepbags table chairs and wine oh neRly forgot the dunny did you spot it?

22.01.2022 Slowly filling another rain event will help get it to the top.

20.01.2022 Today being Monday thought it was a great idea to have a Mental Health day. Took ourselves and the dogs to the beach it was so funny watching the girls getting their feet wet. Then had fish and chips for lunch. Fantastic for mind body and soul just to have the wind in your face and sand between the toes.

19.01.2022 This photo needs no words except something is missing!

19.01.2022 Remember all the hard work that went into erecting this! Watch out for next post to see what last nights storm did. Second photo the sunset within the storm.

16.01.2022 It is suppose to be here but ended up on it roof. Now to get it back where it belongs and start to repot the saved plants.

13.01.2022 Each and every third week in October is National Water Week. This just brings home how dry it is. I encourage everyone to get involved in #finishwaterwaste as Finish will donate 40 litres for each social media post to farmers in need just saw a delivery to farmers in Warwick also with the aid of Rural Aid.

12.01.2022 Wow what a day set out and headed to Oakey. Picked up liquid gold and then found a campsite called Heifer Creek to put down our weary heads.

06.01.2022 Only hours old and already learning rotional grazing routine. We just sit back and let the youngest of the herd catch up to the milkbar.

05.01.2022 Thanks to dear friends Russell and Cheryl Cook who came to visit today. So great to catch up and share our tree change with them. Just take a look at what is happening out at the dams. Excited.

04.01.2022 How is everybodys landline up the valley. We have a constant clicking and then shut down. Anybody else have this trouble today?
