25.01.2022 This special plate allows the disabled or the elderly to cut and eat food with just one hand. Onehandplate is developed by German designer Marie Ruddeck and is ...intended for people with only one functional hand to enable them to feed themselves independently. It has a silicone strip that makes it anti-slip, and 8 cylinders with different spacings. This allows the different parts of a meal to be clamped and held in place while cutting it. Her company Frau Kettner is also planning to release the Onehandcuttingboard to allow the cutting of ingredients with one hand. It's a great way to bring confidence to those who need it. Onehandplate is currently being crowdfunded on the Kickstarter platform (see comments for the link.)
