Saturday 23rd April : All Classes on as per usual timetables Monday 25th April Anzac Day : No Class Everything back to normal from Tuesday 26th April. 21.01.2022 Big congratulations to our two new 6 Week Body winners Trina and Tom! Trina lost 7.4 kilos and 10% of her bodyweight and Tom lost 9 kilos which was 9.6% of his ...bodyweight... Great work guys! And well done to the white team for winning the team event. After trailing the Reds and Blues by 1 point, the whites won the team relay... Then went on to beat the blues and reds in a tug-o-war off. Awesome finish to a fantastic challenge, thank you everyone for being part of it. 20.01.2022 6 Week Challenge - Week 4 A tough session at Saturday's 6 Week Body Rope Mania workout... always a challenging workout with nowhere to hide. This weeks team gam...e was awarded as a tie, so still one point a piece for the reds, blues and whites. This week is the big one and the one we've all been waiting for, yes the Cronulla sand dunes! 4 down and 2 to go... See you on Saturday for week 5!
20.01.2022 Who said eating pancakes makes you gain weight? One of my clients once shared a story of how difficult it was for her not to eat pancakes in the morning while m...aking them for her husband and their 3 kids. Oh....all the physical and mental struggles she had to go through to say NO to something that was her favorite for so many years before she committed to my 6 week body challenge. I looked at her and said "Not my pancakes!!". I gave her one of my pancake recipes and told her to use this recipe next time she makes pancakes for her family. High protein banana pancaked 1 Banana 1 Egg 1 Tsp of dairy free coconut milk 1 scoop of protein (vanilla) 1 Tsp baking powder Mix all the above for 5 minutes until smooth. 16.01.2022 6 Week Challenge - Week 2 Week 2 of the 6 Week Challenge done and dusted with a massive workout at the Supahills in Moore Park. Over a dozen leg burning sprints... completed by each transformer with cross training thrown in for good measure. The blue team won this week's team event beating the white team with a sudden death sprint finisher. The whites are yet to score a win. See you all at Cooper Park for the stairway to heaven workout! 10.01.2022 NO CLASS ON QUEENS BDAY 13TH JUNE Hello Team, Just to let you know there will be no bootcamp classes on Queens Birthday Monday 13th June.... Everything back to normal on Tuesday 14th June Here is your Queens Birthday Workout Program: *10 minute warm up run, shoulder rolls, high knees etc... 3 rounds + the 20min interval training for Cardio. Round 1 - 15 reps for each exercise, then rest for 60 seconds and repeat two more times Pushups Situps Squat Thrusts Low Squats Rotations Round 2: 15 reps for each exercise, then rest for 60 seconds and repeat two more times Bodycounters with tricep pushups (or tricep pushups) Reverse Crunches / Situps Barrier Jumps Reverse Lunge Round 3: with dumbbells if available,or anything heavy you find (a big stone, big water bottle jar etc.. ) (10 reps, finish the round and have 90 second rest) Renegade Rows (plank position) DB Chest Press (lay flat) Squat Thrust Curl and Press Russian twist with Dumbbell Reverse lunge Your other option is to take these exercises and do 20 second reps, 10 seconds rest and repeat 3 x times, then change exercise and finish a full round of the circuit. With Interval training Try and do the following 5 min warm up jog (on treadmill or outdoors) 1 min jog, 30 seconds run, 15 seconds sprint - repeat this for 20 minutes either on cross trainer or treadmill or preferably outside. This will definitely work up a sweat! * don't forget to stretch!
10.01.2022 6 Week Challenge Week 1 Saturday we kicked off the 2016 Autumn 6 Week Challenge in Queens Park with a full body cross training workout followed by a body weight... finisher. The red team pipped the blue team in the first team event taking a 1-0-0 lead against the blues and whites. Well done everyone for completing week 1. 1 down and 5 to gostay focused everyone - the next 5 weeks will fly by and I want to see you all there at the finish. This Saturdays class well be at the Supa Hills - see you all then!
09.01.2022 Folks what better way for the Big Man - aka Dan - to spread some Christmas cheer than to host some Christmas drinks before he takes off for a 'well deserved' (h...is words not mine!) break. Coogee Pavillion is the venue and we are starting early so that people can call in early doors if they have prior engagements. We hope to be out on the roof if weather permits. Would love to see as many of you as can make it, going to be a nice change from Burpees, Duck walks, Mountain climbers...you get the idea! We can run a tag team effort to bring the Big Man down!
