04.01.2022 Hey! Personal Training By Andrew is now operating and is ready to take on new clients looking to improve their health and fitness! Before getting started I thought I'd let you all know about my own health journey. When I was younger, I was going to the gym almost every day, I was very fit and healthy. When I was around the age of nineteen I suffered a bulging disc in my lower back with two calcifications, I thought at the time that I had just pulled a muscle. I kept on traini...ng, and after two years it got to the point where it was pushing on my nerve root. One day I suddenly lost all feeling in my legs whilst jogging. After an MRI scan, the doctor told me I wasn't allowed to lift heavy or even jog as it could worsen it to the point of surgery. I spent the next few years making poor choices, not exercising, and eating poorly. I went from 72kgs all the way up to 125kgs. More recently I realised that I had become fed up with how I looked and felt, and I decided to try and make a change for the better. It wasn't easy! I had ups and downs with my progress, falling back into bad eating and living habits. However, in March 2020 I set myself a goal to compete in a Body Building Competition by 2022. This goal has helped me stay focused and on track even during covid. I'm now down to 93kgs, fitter, healthier, and far happier. Although I've had my PT qualification for a few years now, after my experiences over the past year I'm now determined to help others achieve their fitness goals! So that's my fitness journey, book now so we can start yours!
