25.01.2022 Truth be told I have no idea what the conditions are going to be like on Marathon day 13 weeks from now. Will it be cold, windy, raining or hot? So why not train in all conditions. This mornings 6km run was cold and windy but if you want reach your goal bad enough youll find no excuses and just go and do it. Its all in the mindset. #melbmara#run#mindset#outdoors

23.01.2022 My workout from earlier this morning . Done before it gets way too hot. 10 pushups, 10 D.B bent over rows, 10 ball slams, 10 D.B flyes, 10 K.B push press, 10 bicep curls, 1 minute skipping between exercises. Repeat three times. Remember in extreme heat aim to workout in the coolest parts of the day (usually morning or evening is best) and its okay to modify your workouts too. #workoutdone#fitlife#beattheheat#melbourne

13.01.2022 Sometimes in your training journey things won’t go according to plan and that’s okay. Yesterday (Saturday) I felt great and was looking forward to my Sunday long run. Today (Sunday) I woke up feeling unwell and made the decision not to push my body to it’s limits, instead I skipped my long run and took the opportunity to focus on recovery and the things I could control. Some extra sleep, stretching and foam rolling, some meditation and relaxation, hydration and fuelling my body with healthy foods. It’s important to listen to your body and give it what it needs. #melbmara#stretch#foamroll#meditation#relaxation#hydration#healthyeating
