25.01.2022 Many thanks to South Australian Premier Marshall & Police & Emergency Services Minister Wingard who are both strong and authentic supporters of all their Police & Emergency Services personnel, for giving me the opportunity to lead the review with SAFECOM and SA Treasury on this important work. Any budgetary reviews, examinations or scrutiny always brings natural suspicion of impacts to staff and financial cuts. I look forward to making a contribution to ensure every precious taxpayer dollar gives the terrific SAMFS and the community the most effective budget use for todays and tomorrows challenges in ensuring the protection of life and property in the wonderful State of South Australia.

23.01.2022 Delighted to be in Wentworth in amazing autumn weather along the mighty Darling River and junction of the Murray River for the 77th Murray Darling Association conference ‘Connecting Communities’. 21.01.2022 So 14 weeks ago I left behind 30 years of my professional life to start a new chapter for work and life, a better balanced life with new purpose and different rewards to pursue. In the early part of that journey of learning the art of adjustment, decompressing, resting, recharging, renewal and re focusing Im grateful to have terrific family and friends and some wonderful mentors who have helped guide and support me so far. In that time Ive started my own company & advisory ...business, secured two strategic partnerships, had my first speaking engagement and now Im on the road or more accurately in the skies again for my first project contracted to Perspective Advisory Services. This week Perspective Pty Ltd takes flight. Big thanks to Nathan Shooter at Thrive Media for all his Brandhood.co support & help with my website also launching this week.

14.01.2022 It is with great sadness that the Board and members of International Rugby League note the passing of Bob Fulton (1947 - 2021). IRL Chair, Hon. Troy Grant commented "He was a true Immortal of club and international rugby league. All our thoughts are with his family and friends" NRL

10.01.2022 At the start of this month I had the great opportunity to travel to the Northern Territory to work with the NT Police Fire & Emergency Services. The NTPFES, a Tri-Service and a police force with Id imagine some of the most unique and diverse geographic and demographic policing challenges in the world. On the way I got to see from high above one of the natural wonders of the world in Lake Eyre. On the ground I met a very dedicated and committed team led by Commissioner Reece ...Kershaw APM, ready to tackle all variety of challenges thrown their way. The sunset wasnt half decent either.

06.01.2022 Its hard to believe but Ive reached the 6 month mark since Perspective Advisory Services commenced operations. While the business started up as I made a significant professional transition, Im very grateful for the success and experiences Ive enjoyed so far and for the tremendous support and mentorship Ive received. Ive secured two strategic consultancy partnerships & am enjoying immensely working with very talented groups of people at Deloitte Australia and Johnstaf...f advisory on a number of significant projects. Ive also enjoyed taking on advisory roles for a number of clients helping them navigate some Industry issues and strategically planning with them on key projects. Ive also been able to travel to the NT and South Australia working with agencies on their budget challenges and have been impressed with their commitment and dedication to the cause. Ive secured two key speaking engagements as well, keeping my hand in public speaking, while also enjoying not having to listen to myself speak everyday after 8 years. In addition Ive proudly taken on a voluntary role as Chairman of Racing NSWs Integrity Assurance Committee. So in a blink of an eye my new future is shaping up quickly and Im excited about the next six months ahead and some opportunities on the horizon. Again, very grateful to those wonderful supporters and mentors, Ive already learnt heaps of lessons and have much more to learn while Ive also achieved a much better work/life balance and importantly have loved reconnecting with my wife and kids
