19.01.2022 Wow. What a weekend , that was our first State competition shoot and we enjoyed every minute -Now to unpack the car and get through the week and head back to the range on Saturday for CLAS and Rifle and Handguns on Sunday . Hazel.

17.01.2022 Hi gang Happy Mothers day to all Also just a message that the complex had temp shut for hazard reduction burn starting today 10th May to the 15th May ... They have replaced the lock with a temp so there is no access to the complex to unauthorised people As per the state Government announcements today groups of up to 20 people the range will be still open for practice but now the club is going to be organising a busy be after the 18th May, once a date is organised I will put the date up on the page so keep an eye open Please remember safe distancing practices and hand washing at all times at the club If you feel a cough or cold stay away and see your doctor just in case Can't wait till we all back shootin, really !!! 13.01.2022 Morning gang Yesterday was the opening day of the WA Silhouette state tiles here in Perth Yesterday we opened with the rifle event and it was held on the Hand gun Metallic Silhouette club big thanks to the club Well the event went very well with competitors from the north as far as Port Hedland and the south Albany and our locals ... Was a great shoot, weather was fearly kind with a patch of rain during the second 40 round match but not enough to hold up the shoot All in all a great day followed up by a pleasant evening after a few beverages and a BBQ feed and the days presentation

The weather was kind today we had an overcast day all-day without any rain The day was shot again in great spirit and company The targets were allot closer but a lot smaller just as much fun though The same bunch of shooters as yesterday but we have an addition of a young starter from Perth Kaden L welcome mate, new shooter to the sport

10.01.2022 Evening Gang With all this exciting news of travel bans lifted and groups getting larger and Covid 19 restriction easing, I hear a whisper that the Club will be springing in to action soon, Lever Action in fact LOL, sorry an attempt at humour haha But first members read your emails, as an email has drop tonite asking for vollies this coming Sunday the 7th, so don't miss out and get in to your inboxes and read and put your hands up and if your free come and join in the fun... Without the help Ladies and Gents of us all we wont get back to the wonderful range that we are all accustomed to YES its BUSY BEE time, well we have all had a big break and are all well rested so we can hopefully spare a few hours on Sunday to give the Club a polish and the Range a going over Looking forward to seeing you all there, 8.30am Sunday 7th June and LUNCH is provided BUT make sure you read your emails and REGISTER or you will miss out on all the fun and lunch !!! cheerz

08.01.2022 hey gang as promised just received from the PLARC club Secretary so see below SSAA WA Directive in Relation to COVID19 To All Members of Perth Lever Action Rifle Club... I have attached a copy of the SSAA WA Directive on State Title Events - Club Operations in Western Australia. All SSAA WA State Title Events are postponed until further notice. This unfortunately will include the Postponement of the 2020 Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette State Titles held at the PLARC Range from the 10-13 April 2020. In addition 2020 Lever Action State Titles held at the SSAA Kalgoorlie Range from the 30-31 May 2020 will be postponed. The Perth Lever Action Rifle Club will suspend all matches and scheduled events in line with both the SSAA WA recommendations and the Australian Government announcement this evening by the Prime Minister. We will return to our matches and scheduled events when we are granted clearance to resume our social normalitys by the Australian Government. During this time I wish all our members the best of health for you and your family. I hope to compete with you all again soon at our club. 03.01.2022 Evening Gang Sorry for the late post Last day today Rimfire event ... Last evening after the days shoot dinner, presentations and a few beverages everyone would have been up and ready for action this morning The last day of shooting of the long weekend started a little damp but I am certain it didn't dampen the spirit of the shooter and the event was away on the final day Unfortunately I don't have to much to report today as I wasn't able to attend the final day myself , so I am pretty sure one of the great competitors has taken a few pics of the day's events, once I get a few sent to me hopefully I will upload them But reports from the State Chief that the day was another great day had by all with all competitors enjoying the event, shot in great spirit and comradery From a shooters pov I thought it was a great weekend, great company and well run event by all the people and shooter's involved in making the event a success, everyone just did what needed to be done without fuss And finally A huge Congratulations to our 2020 WA State Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette Champion - Kim K Well done mate
