24.01.2022 Dear all, The unprecedented situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic has quickly escalated to impact upon our daily lives and our ability to practice dentistry. Our team at Perth Prosthodontics wishes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone that our team comes into contact with whether its at the practice or when they return home.... As healthcare professionals, we believe that we need to act responsibly and at a standard that is at or above the recommendations from Australian Dental Association and the Department of Health. Whilst at the same time, we also have a duty of care to our patients. We have deferred all non-essential dental appointments for now and are committing our last efforts to help urgent cases before we stand down. We will reopen as soon as possible and may recommence from mid June. Our phones and voicemail along with email (reception, clinicians) will be monitored throughout and we shall manage dental emergencies as best as we can taking into account any restrictions. We wish you to stay safe and positive in these trying times and please dont hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do to help. 16.01.2022 Our first Perth ITI Study Club meeting for 2020 was successfully delivered. We received 115 registrations from not only Perth but also around the world . Thank you to everyone who attended and for providing your feedback. During this meeting, Perth Prosthodontics Clinician, Dr Armand Putra presented a webinar on Timing of Implant Placement in the Anterior Zone, exploring the history of implant placement in the anterior zone, and the indication and contraindication of immed...iate placement with particular emphasis on how to ensure aesthetic success. With the easing of restrictions on public gathering, Janice and Armand are looking forward to meeting you all in person very soon. We will be running our Hands-on workshop- Basic Dental Photography on 5th of August, places will be limited. More information will be released by the end of this week. Stay tuned.
